  1. Three meetings staged at Heusen-Zolder this year. Two won by Danny Gappmaier, and the other by Ben Trigger
  2. There is on BSPL website fixture list
  3. I've heard everyone has signed for Leicester (and they are all doubling up with Birmingham)
  4. I wondered that to. Convential countback would suggest it should have been Harris.
  5. Enjoyable meeting, well run and Hummel streets ahead of everyone else. Highlight of the afternoon was meeting Dave Mullett! (Your name was mentioned)
  6. Except you ard ignoring the rulebook that clearly states the result of a race can not be changed once declared. And secondly these are simply decisions where you disagree with that of the referee.
  7. But an accurate conversion rate to reflect real life would be: Champ average = (1.054 x Prem av) + 1.75 [Linear regression*] * I tried r squared and logarithmic correlations but neither gave a significantly better fit.
  8. Good point, but with only last ten counting for most riders the Newcy matches will have dropped out already.
  9. Racers were at Cradley that night, but it was rained-off and we diverted to Swindon on our way home only to find floods of biblical proportions at Blunsdon. Yet the meeting went ahead and Dag was a class apart.
  10. Could this be a rare example of a sensible "in the best interests of the sport" decision?
  11. Absolutely shocking that a speedway promoter should be allowed to cover some of the losses made during the regular season with a PROFITABLE meeting.
  12. I think the wide boys are now moving in on football and rugby stadia. Show up as 'knights in shining armour', separate the ground ownership from the operating company. Use the club to launder money for a few years, run it into the ground, declare insolvency, sell ground for property development. Bury FC and now Worcester RFC spring to mind, but there will be several others at risk
  13. You're not suggesting Lynn v BV will never be staged are you?
  14. Denmark seem to have retreated from Fridays and appear to be back to Wednesdays only
  15. They've run EVERY weekend, except against the GP and on Aug 27 when despite best efforts no opposition could be found.
  16. Yes, particularly with so few rounds. The pinnacle of the absurd is the NDL cup final which is still outstanding, despite the entire competition consisting of just two semi finals.
  17. That would imply Aces heat leaders winning 15 out of 18 head to heads against Tigers heat leaders, which seems unlikely to me.
