  1. But that governed the combined CMA of the declared seven and Mildenhall are currently north of 48 points. So by those metrics the Fen Tigers are too strong!!
  2. Charles Wright:- 2021 - 8.21 from 24 mtgs 2022 8.45 from 33 meetings. And his Prem Ave went up too. http://www.gbspeedway.com/2021/riderperf.php?mc1=s&mc2=rc&mc3=av&mc4=x&rider=Charles Wright&league=B&sort=date&comp=All&club=Overall&reload=Y#mobile_stats http://www.gbspeedway.com/2022/riderperf.php?mc1=s&mc2=rc&mc3=av&mc4=x&rider=Charles Wright&league=B&sort=date&comp=All&club=Overall&reload=Y#mobile_stats
  3. I do not believe this to be the case. All references I have seen simply refer to the competition as not completed. And anyway no legs were staged so not a comparable situation.
  4. So it's: 1 Jason Edwards 2 R/R 3 James Laker 4 Bailey Fellows 5 Tom Woolley [G] 6 Ashton Boughen 7 Luke Muff 8 James Jessop
  5. Precedent [2010 National League] says it should be awarded to Poole.
  6. But Kemp is not in the Wolves team as a rising star. Personally I feel it would be very unfair if he didn’t get the reduction.
  7. I have seen no evidence of this decision other than issue 19 of being described as final. So final we've since had issues 20 and 21. And why weren't the last CL greensheets described as final? If this desicion was made then surely it would apply to both leagues. I would be in favour of the move, but have seen no reference to it outside of discussion on the BSF.
  8. Looks pretty clear to me that the 2.5% discount is nor shown.
  9. No it isn't. the median is the mid-point, excluding top and bottom will not alter the median, but they will alter the mean. As you exclude more and more scoes (top and bottom two, then top and bottom three etc) the average will converge on the median, but just excluding one does not turn it into the median .e.g. scores of 6,9,9,10,10,10,10 Median = 10 Mean = 9.14 Average excluding outliers = 9.6 Average excluding two outliers = 9.67 Average excluding 3 outliers = 10
  10. http://www.gbspeedway.com/2022/teamstats.php?mc1=x&mc2=ta&mc3=av&mc4=Glasgow Tigers&team=Glasgow Tigers&league=B&comp=CMA&avtype=av
  11. I think it would be sufficient just to exclude heat 2 - the Poles used to do that a few years ago. Another thing we might borrow from them is to throw away highest and lowest scores before calculating averages which makes manipulation more difficult.
  12. In principle yes, but there other issues - notably insurance cover ceases on 31 Oct and visas may also expire on that date.
  13. Yes - page 8: The period from 15 th March (8 th March when Easter falls in March) to 31 st October (both inclusive). Meetings may only be held outside this period where specific written permission of the SCB has been given
  14. Today's forecasts diverge considerably. Here's a more promising one https://www.accuweather.com/en/gb/leicester/le1-3/hourly-weather-forecast/329016
  15. RR for Spooner Complin for Shanes Luke Harrison & Ashton Boughen for Bebee and Kingston
  16. Can we just accept that: 1) it has been very wet recently 2) that at this time of the year restoring a sodden track to a state fit for racing can be tricky 3) Leicester are exercising their best endeavours to get the track ready for tomorrow 4) weather forecasts are not 100% guaranteed predictions, so we are hoping for the best tomorrow. And having got that off my chest, see you at Beaumont Park tomorrow.
  17. Laker was always programmed to ride at no 6 in second meeting. Boughen couldn't ride in the second match without obtaining an average so had only been booked for the first.
  18. But precedent would suggest that if 2nd leg can't be run the result is declared based on the one leg held.
  19. Given the lateness of the hour and the tanking the home team were getting more than you might imagine. More pertinently how many riders do Mildenhall have left? [Clue: it was less than one and rhymes with bun]
