  1. 4th in US championship - should be OK for visa?
  2. Fingers crossed. The Facebook Post gives off a very positive feel of a realistic and practical project. Do we know who's behind it?
  3. I largely agree with your assessment, but given his age, relative inexperience and improvement to date I would expect Ablitt to overtake most of these in 2023. So I'd go with a strong no 6 and Ablitt.
  4. So I imagined him winning the FIM Youth Gold Trophy did I? Of course he was a prospect. (And he undoubtedly has failed to live up to early expectations)
  5. 2021 his GSA included 13 from 5 at Eastbourne that got knocked off at end of season hence the drop in his final GSA for that season..
  6. Well I hope he's putting in the hours and getting paid the market rate. Otherwise some unkind individuals might think it a ruse to get round the regulations on signing on fees.
  7. With Plymouth not running I'd look to seeing Ben Trigger return. Max James must be a highly likely addition and I'd be happy to see all of the others return bar Dan who has outgrown the league.
  8. Hard to see any partnership with football working. Unless you go below tier 5 it would be a very unequal partnership, and football fans expect to be near the action so having a speedway track between them and the racing is likely to be unpopular. Speedway tied itself to greyhound racing for 50+ years and that has been fraught with problems as greyhounds declined. A stadium that would meet with Cov City's requirements would cost north of £20 million. Who's going to come up with speedway's share of that (either up front or via stratospheric rents?)
  9. But I think we can safely say neither will be no 1 at Ipswich
  10. King does NOT get a deduction when determining riding order ( only for team building), so he is no 1 rather than Riss.
  11. Kemp 20/15 vs Cook 23/14. So adjusting for that only increases Zach's superiority.
  12. All official fixtures in 2022, inc bonus: Zach Cook 7.11 [2021 - 4.81] Drew Kemp 6.03 Not sure why so many people are seeing this as a poor signing.
  13. Probably an artefact of Zach being at reserve while Ben was in the top 5. For me the most telling stat is that Zach has the better away average.
  14. On a more global view almost the entire team under performed expectations throughout the season. Two riders with a home away differential in excess of four and two more over two tells the story.
  15. Well of course that depends on who the 3 pointer was. If it was Luke they would still have a decent side.
  16. Presumably up and coming young Danes - Bjarne Pedersen and Rene Madsen
  17. 3 3 beats 3 2 1 0 0 But I think 3 0 0 3 0 will beat 3 3
  18. I know that but Roynon's fourth match was an ordinary league match - yet apparently it doesn't count
  19. If he is it implies that October matches are not included in green sheets. In which case there is an incredibly irrational inconsistency. Ashton Boughen's October fixtures count towards him getting a 4 match average, but Roynon's don't.
  20. That is the correct summary of what the regulations actually say.
  21. In a GP there are 5 heats on a fresh track: 1,5,9,13,17. Riders nos. 2-16 each appear in one of them, but rider no 1 is in all five. But I agree with your initial point
  22. Jake Allen is on a bargain average, but if we are not going to use the extra point I'd stick with Sedgmen. PS Either way it will be tough for Mountain riding in top 5.
  23. Zische has ridden no DSL matches as far as I can see. I am pretty sure his Division One matches for Outrup won't count. So I'm expecting a 4.00 assessment if he comes over.
  24. But Trigger has a sub 6 point NDL average. Brennan and Flint both averaged in excess of 8 prior to gaining a Championship berth. And nobody with decent knowledge of the NDL would have made such comments about Flint and Brennan. (Bewley perhaps because he was an unknown quantity) Trigger is a promising youngster, but no way is he ready for the Championship.
