  1. Baked potato with tuna and salad from Eastbourne was my top pick. Used to like Lakeside too.
  2. Definitely the case for Radio Trent Invaders.
  3. Thomas rode when far from fit at the end of last season. I'd put money on him improving his starting average
  4. 30 from Marble Arch via King's Cross to Hackney Wick
  5. I don't think he's ridden for over 5 years (8 July 2017 @ Welland is his most recent outing according to my records - Wembley Lion was there !)
  6. Maybe (and this would be unusual in speedway) someone's actually done some proper due diligence and weren't happy with the outcome.
  7. Most logical would be 8.00 (twice assessed Champ average - see Adam Roynon in 2022)
  8. If only he'd had British grandparents last year he could have come in on a 2 point average like Connor Bailey
  9. I can see both sides of this. Meeting Dave Mullett at Swingfield grasstrack was one of my 2022 season highlights (and Dave Stallworthy did interviews with Dave, Gordon Kennett and Jamie Luckhurst to keep the track breaks interesting). On the other Chris Sully is at Leicester every week. Good to see him enjoying his speedway, but I don't think his presence adds to the meeting.
  10. Even if the Polish/FIM obstacle is overcome Emil would still need a visa and I guess the Home Office might take a little longer convincing that Emil is not a pro-Russian warmongering moneylaundering oligarch than (say) Ben Basso.
  11. I like Alfie, but he has a lot to prove, away from Plymouth [2.89 away average in 2022]
  12. The points limit should (among other things) be a function of the number of teams in the league. So when Newcastle dropped out the logical move would have been to push the limit back up to 42.
  13. I was at that meeting. But it is worth noting that Killeen leant his track craft at Pinjar Park [142m]. Ablitt v Killeen at NSS might be a different proposition. Also Aaran Butcher got paid 14 from 5 rides - it was not the strongest Plymouth team.
  14. No because Cook rode in 37 matches, and the 19 you've chosen to rely on are heavily skewed to the start of the season.
  15. Your figures are not across the whole season - only one match after 20 July. Post season in this context means after completion of regular league matches
  16. Post season Ben Cook averaged 7.13 from five away matches (none at reserve).
  17. 20 is too many . Matches from July last year will still be in Championship averages at end of next season. I'd rather have 16 for both leagues than different rules for Prem and Champ.
  18. How much did they pay for their semi final spot?
  19. Agree with you on Kasprzak. We know KK is inconsistent. But he's still a force in the Ekstraliga and I think a lot of people are underestimating him.
  20. This is a non debate, like many before him I would expect Morris to be no more than back up for Grindsted, riding the odd match when Birmingham don't have a fixture.
  21. It has been under discussion, and given Armadale are ru n8ng I think k it is highly likely that it will go ahead.
  22. Does this mean Armadale have got their wish to include Jacob Hook?
  23. Can't see him making many appearances given Birmingham race day is Weds.
