More than twice as much rain was forecast this week - and we got it with quite a bit to spare.
-
You should come, there may be a team spot available to you.

His fourth match was after the cut-off date so not included. Although there is nothing in the rules to state that ordinary league fixtures post cut-off should be discounted.

That's quite an "achievement" to have taken in all of the SGPs "finest hours". Maybe you should stick to Cardiff? ... then on second thoughts

In the days of the internet you can no longer pull the old 'injured riding abroad' trick. We all know what Scott did for Rawicz on Saturday and unless he tripped over a burger in the pits he didn't pick up an injury there. [And there is no suggestion he won't be fit for Oxford tonight]

Isn't the qualification 'ELIGIBLE to ride in NDL' which he would have been in 1994.
-
I'm fairly sure there is a precedent to that effect, but I can 't summon it up right now.

Glasgow v Edinburgh , Easter Sunday
arnieg replied to Weeyin's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Funnily enough at a meeting I was at last week a rider was referred to as 'solid scorer'. I turned to my friend and said "I think they mean fat" -
Glasgow v Edinburgh , Easter Sunday

"He called me fat" and "It's a man's game" Feels like a bit of a contradiction to me -
How is it odd to choose a rider who scored a FULL maximum last time he rode for Mildenhall?

But without somewhere to stage speedway the name is worth the square root of sweet FA

It depends on how many stewards they get. With it being Easter I'd guess that it will only be the home straight. Be warned Berwick may turn up with half a team. Three riders withdrew at Belle Vue after falls yesterday and Greg Blair barely finished a race at full steam.

Probably not, but it was undoubtedly up on last season, and the speedy conclusion should ensure that the trend remains positive.

As an away fan I quite like Roy Clarke. But I think he may be best appreciated in small doses.

Oxford v Poole 5/4/23 BSN Series

Roynon would have had paid 5 if he hadn't fallen in heat 2. That would be a pretty decent contribution from the weaker reserve away from home. -
Maybe this UNSOURCED article? https://speedwaynews.pl/zuzel/pedersen-wrocil-ale-na-krotko-co-teraz/?fbclid=IwAR38xYqvgd2eKc3FB6IIASfXNZFD60ya4EqkK5Fn3ShTMvEqlpWsilnBeF0

So is that confirmation that the mystery interval at Alwalton last Monday was due to riders expressing concerns about tyres?

98 was the non knock- out year. Reading Racers won despite being tanked by Peterborough in the group matches. Champ Shield - yes And 1999 National Trophy -

Almost every year since 1997. It just keeps changing its name. -

None of the forecasts suggest heavy rain. However they do suggest pretty much 12 hours solid of intermittent light rain. Looking at the rainfall radar I'd say this is still in the balance. -
Good Friday 7.4.23 - Scunny vs Redcar
arnieg replied to ScunnyDan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
5% uplift only applies to top 5, so Alfie wouldn't fit. -
I asked ChatGPT where the first speedway meeting in the UK was and it said: The first speedway meeting in Great Britain was held on February 19, 1928, at the New Cross Stadium in London I blame norbold
