  1. .... but, but surely his native currency is the zloty?
  2. Push, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble & Grubb, with r/r for Captain Flack
  3. 1 Timo Lahti 14 2 Antti Vulous 13 3 Dimitri Berge 12 +3 4 MJJ 12 +2 5 Francis Gusts 12+1 One of the greatest performances I've ever seen from an unfancied outsider. Antti really surprised me
  4. Glad to hear it. There are a lot of people who've worked hard to keep Mildenhall alive and they deserve some praise and reward for their efforts.
  5. Very interesting, a couple there I was unaware of. And John Edwards left Cradley to join Wimbledon but quickly changed his mind after a couple of second halves and returned to Cradley. Did Bryan Elliot (Cov) sign for Long Eaton but get pressured into staying with Cov?
  6. Drops the clutch when the tapes go up, and then turns left at the bends.
  7. Dark thunderclouds and lightning behind the main grandstand heading towards us. Nasty red gash on rainfall radar. This could be problematic.
  8. Interesting article (about state of Swedish speedway and traditional nicknames) https://proletaren.se/artikel/speedwaykris-infor-start-dyra-utlandska-forare-ruinerar-klubbar?fbclid=IwAR1EDIEaatLS9i5ZvZXvnGEBRqJV66Xzr_fY5YX8f69zb1NbKjaMUmhPTQI#.ZEvAADolJTN.facebook
  9. IRR only available for top 4 in Aves. Has to be reserves.
  10. I shall look forward to seeing Gusts again. Don't think I've ever seen a Romanian before.
  11. Douglas guested at Leic last Thur so surely not eligible
  12. Very similar to P'boro. [Iversen 6.29 followed by Worrall 6.13] In fact put the top 7 from both teams together and it comes to less than 42. (And top 6 plus JE as rising star is well under the limit.)
  13. The team would have SIX heatleaders in the CL, and a combined GSA north of 50 points. They'd walk the CL.
  14. I think the critisism of Basso is unfair. In a weak team more of him is expected than he can deliver, and as a young upcoming (and very talented) rider he can't be expected to score big in every match.
  15. At present r/r for no 2 is stronger than r/r for no 1. You get rides for 1,3,4 & 5 as opposed to nos 2,3,4 & 5. A strange anomaly. Suggest r/r for no 1 should allow 2 extra rides instead of one.
  16. Weather forecast looks iffy. I think the key factor is Wolves can't do any trackwork during the day to mitigate rain damage.
  17. Possible reasons: 1) the risk/suspicion that race fixing could/was taking place 2) the odds setters were never sophisticated enough (e.g. failing to give due weight to gate advantage) to make money.
  18. There is a difference. Pedersen is demonstrably fit (or did I imagine his 18 point maximum for Grudziadz?) whereas Kennett was (allegedly) injured.
