  1. "Just 48 hours after a second straight 56-34 home loss .." Can't even get the score right!
  2. Polish Aves for comparison: Dudek 6.72 Tarasenko 6.43 Smektala 6.21 C Holder 5.72 Lidsey 5.47
  3. Yes, but the point is it effectively becomes four unless Worky plan to give Foy a ride.
  4. And the Thompson's might still be riding (and Scott Nicholls could guest for Poole)
  5. I disagree Section 10.2 is headed 'match average' and then deals separately with established and assessed averages. So the only credible statutory construction of the regulations is that Rew has a match average. Therefore 10.3.1 applies and he must be in the top 5.
  6. General concensus last night was that it was the highest of the season so far. But it was still pretty abysmal.
  7. Heat 8 was the other one, but I suppose they cancel each other out.
  8. 2022 all official fixtures ( exc guest and bonus points) 5.58 2023 so far (same basis) 5.29 So I query your statement, although I note that 5.29 does exceed his starting GSA.
  9. It's called medical science https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9290185/ Key quote: "... with the greatest risk occurring in the first 10 days post-injury.7,11,12 Preliminary evidence has shown the vulnerable window may be longer in duration in children compared with adults, highlighting the importance of proper concussion diagnosis and management in the pediatric athlete."
  10. It's more for younger riders- 12 days I believe for Dan.
  11. Pleased to see Tom and Max P get decent scores.
  12. Agree. The two rides for Embleton seems entirely justifiable, but I am struggling to see how Woods was allowed to replace Dugard in heat 14.
  13. 12.5 refers to injury sustained during the meeting. So it is moot whether Dugard and Embleton's injuries were fresh. If they were 'aggravating old injuries then neither should have been replaced in heat 14. "If a rider is prevented as a result of an injury sustained in that meeting, as confirmed in writing by the MO, the minimum ride rule will not apply"
  14. He hit the fence during his second ride, so may have done some damage then.
  15. 11 from Kyle, and Chargers would 'only' have won 52-37
  16. So no beating a rider the quality of Ben Morley off a 15 metre handicap then? http://www.gbspeedway.com/2022/meeting.php?mc1=x&mc2=f&mc3=pf&mc4=Oxford Chargers&comp=NL&meeting=440
  17. All this King must go talk is pretty pathetic. Before tonight he had the HIGHEST 2023 average of any BRITISH rider in the Premiership (yes above Bewley). Are Ipswich fans really so fickle that they want to ditch him after one bad match?
  18. I was also standing with Rob and Alan (what's the collective noun? A scribble of programme columnists? A witter? A drivel?) and I'm siding with Alan on this one
  19. Did I hear that next week's match against Wolves may not be on dus to stadium availability?
  20. No it is 90-all after two legs with Wolves having won the bonus point.
