And as Edinburgh only had home matches left after 29 August he could have signed effective 31 August without any risk of getting an average. Edit: But it could have been a reason to stop him signing before the Plymouth fixture

It is very unlikely planning permission specifies which days of the week they can run. When there are restrictions it is usually in terms of number of times per week.
