  1. Palin rode for the Colts in 2019 and was named in their team for 2020. So the answer is yes and no Lambert a good call, and Bridger is a useful reminder.
  2. But doesn't score well outside Poland. He looked OK, when I saw him (about as good as Castagna), and averages less than 3 in Sweden.
  3. That's not how it works. Setting a £200k loss against other business profits will only result in HMRC losing £50k. The promoter will still be £150,000 down. If HMRC is £200k down then Birm speedway would have had to lose £800,000
  4. Are you sure? https://www.zuzelend.com/m,3258,ok-bedmet-kolejarz-opole-vs-opibet-lokomotiv-daugavpils
  5. Steve Worrall 6.00 ...Adam Ellis 9.00 (above Masters and Douglas) Those are the real averages, where it matters ... in Poland. I had assumed the OP was satire, but I fear not.
  6. Better than Rew and Blodorn in Polish liga 1 Averaging less than 3 ( per match) in Sweden. I saw him in Argentina, on a par with Paco Castagna. ...so juries out
  7. NOBODY LET US DOWN It is disappointing to come so close and not win, so how about some praise for the guys for taking it to the wire.
  8. It is the standard practice in Polish speedway you nominate a rider, then make the substitution.
  9. A British Qualifyer 1. Wiktor Przyjemski (3,3,3,3,3) 152. Nazar Parnitskyi (3,3,3,2,2) 133. Oskar Paluch (2,3,2,2,3) 124. Antoni Mencel (0,2,3,3,3) 115. Norick Blödorn (2,2,2,3,2) 116. Dan Thompson (3,3,2,1,1) 107. Sebastian Kössler (2,2,3,W,2) 98. Anže Grmek (3,2,1,1,2) 99. Matouš Kameník (1,0,2,0,3) 610. Jan Jeníček (2 ,1,0,2,1) 611. Artjoms Juhno (1,0,0,3,1) 512. 10. That's what it used to mean (see 2019 NDL Green Sheets) but now it means not eligible to ride as AR. As far as I can tell Boxall and Morley are able to guest (subject to average constraints). [I was under the same mis-apprehension this morning]
  11. If Australia were that good they wouldn't have been in the race-off.
  12. The youngsters have to have somebody to ride against.
  13. Worth a shot. Have a look at his standing in the under 24 league. https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/u24-ekstraliga/statystyki/2023
  14. Must be pretty consistent to average 8 in Polish League 1. Some pretty strong performances: https://www.zuzelend.com/zaw,651,dmitri-berge
  15. My mistake, I was remembring the old rules. What is truly embarrasing is they were last extant in 2019 So under old rules Boxall (and Ben Morley) wouldn't be able to guest in CL. But now they can, subject to averages fitting, but can't be nmed AR. Which still begs the question - what is Boxall's CL official average?
  16. Surely he could only guest if named in somebody else's CL team as he is NEG on the NDL Green Sheets. Old rules. My mistake. I think we must infer that he's had his old CL average reduded to 4.00 or less.
  17. That may be true of sports with extensive amateur participation and low entry costs but neither applies to speedway so unless the professional speedway as a whole takes some responsibility then they are acting against their long term interests. Best example of this is the dropping of the Rising Star from the Championship.
