  1. Janowski is certainly 'magic' the way he makes 3 points disappear off his average.
  2. Both former Reading Racers too
  3. Prem: reasonable Champ: a little disappointing NDL: spectacularly good
  4. Although he did have an EF while leading; but it's fair to say he didn't impress.
  5. No, but would you sign a rider who could only manage one competitive ride?
  6. He was very poor, even when he got a second he was coasting round. I would caution against assuming he'll be fit for regular racing in the near future.
  7. I wasn't expecting the interval interview with ... Alan Molyneux
  8. Agreed. He's a shoe in for Finland, but has to compete withThorsell, Lindack and Nilsson as a Swede and I suspect it'll be one Swede and one Brit (Brennan?) rather than two Swedes.
  9. I think I know a little about speedway in the Thames Valley. Please don't teach grandma(or pa in this case) to suck eggs.
  10. I hope this is not a widely held view. Certainly in my experience I've been welcomed into the Oxford family.
  11. Well when this stupid rule was introduced as a knee jerk decision following the whining of a losing team manager* I and many other wise people (including ACU referees) said it was a crazy rule because it placed referees and medical officers in the invidious position of making a subjective decision on what's 'new' and what's 'aggravated' * King's Lynn (oh why is it always King's Lynn?) 4 July 2022 following the withdrawal of Michael Palm Toft
  12. So 'back in play' Due to the actions of the King’s Lynn Promotion by postponing this fixture when facilities were available, and also already being under investigation due to the fixture being postponed in May 2023 From today's adjudication
  13. Sad to note his passing. https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/1123037/tragiczne-wiesci-nie-zyje-andriej-kudriaszow
  14. He's Ukrainian and 17, made a stunning debut at the back end of 2022 and Ekstraliga debut last season. He was one of my top 10 under 21's outside Poland in last season's Cheetahs' Chronicle.
  15. Apart from 21 rides in the six matches she rode in.
  16. Given their line-ups last night wouldn't it be better when Indianerna meet Piraterna to stage it in Krosno rather than Kumla? [Both teams tracked an all Polish top 5 last night]
  17. Polish under 24 league rides on Tuesday. For that reason Swedes hardly ever ride in the U24 league.
  18. Some stats from a recent article: Sweden 2009 2023 Meetings 232 122 Riders 122 48 Youth riders 60 30 Excluding reserves there were only four Swedish regulars in last season's Elitserien: Lindgren, Nilsson, Thorsshell and Berntzon Edit: add Lindback to make 5 as DazS has pointed out
  19. The King's Lynn apologists really need to shut up. They are embarrassing themselves. There is a world of difference between calling off a match 'because I might lose" [yes, some of the KL boosters really used that argument] and because it is likely to piss down.
  20. That was the lower grade SEC qualifyer, which reinforces your point. But he's definitely come on this year. Needs to up his scores for Gdansk though.
  21. I don't get all the angsting here about the Cook's. Both have had the odd bad match, but they are clearly still improving and have turned in Premiership performances that show how good they could be. With Brennan and Hagon out performing expectation I don't think Poole have much to worry about and they can afford to carry Perry (or replacement should they drop him). Add in the fact that all the teams tipped as their main rivals (Glasgow, Oxford, Redcar) are under performing, I'd feel very positive at the moment if I was a Poole supporter.
