  1. 2021 Flint 6.04 Edwards 2.22 2024 Flint 6.85 Edwards 6.34 [Championship GSA's] Think the trend line is pretty clear.
  2. ACU Board member Paul Hurry received no sanction last year, so I shouldn't worry too much on that account.
  3. The point is that every time some whiny little team manager feels hard done by they demand new restrictions/relaxations in the guest rules. The result is they become so complex that virtually nobody remembers them all. (cf Sheffield's inadvertant attempt to use Harris illegally). I think @szkocjasid is making an argument for rationlisingb the rules.
  4. Polish clubs are often refused licences. What that says to me is the clubs may not always be professionally run, but the governing body is a lot more robust.
  5. Scott is not in the named 7 so there is no reason to find a guest for him. And while there are alternatives I struggle to see any that are significantly better - please enlighten me.
  6. But a somewhat less than impressive away average.
  7. Hi there I'm a Nigerian Prince, I wonder if you could help me? ....
  8. Your welcome to donate, but has it been endorsed by Poole Speedway? And if you donate you are giving your money to 'anonymous Poole fan' - for all we know that could be 'lucifersam' and he's planning to give all your Poole pennies to Luke and Jody.
  9. Over 70 years, that's quite some history in the sport. And only last weekend present at Oxford. One of the sport's most notable characters. Leaves only Reg Fearmam of the 'famous five' behind Allied Presentations.
  10. OK, if the grown-ups can have this thread back, the interesting news from today is that Eastbourne are submitting an application to join the NDL next season, staging home matches at Iwade. I do wonder what sort of response they'll get.
  11. I think we know the ahswer as it has already been done. Called the Craven and Young Shields, these competitions were notoriously poorly attended.
  12. Tuesday's drenching can't have helped. But the lack of overtaking after the first lap seems to have got lost in all the other 'noise'
  13. The bottom line is Poole were the best team in the league. They assembled a strong top 4, including three riders with significant potential to improve (and all three did, although Zach seemed to save his best performances for the Brummies). Then they signed 'a second-rate' Dane already regarded as a failure over here that nobody else had the remotest interest in and got points out of him. Then they managed to get far more from Hagon (at least in the first half of the season) and Foord (who has a lower NDL average than Scott or Perry) than could reasonably be expected. Whether it's in spotting who to sign or how they bring out the best in riders once signed Poole have that extra edge. My one reservation would be their lack of interest in grassroots speedway.
  14. Motorcycle Federation of Russia (their ACU)
  15. Yes - basically capitalism in operation, about the least woke thing you could imagine
  16. It's pure capitalism which is the very antithesis of woke.
  17. Holta's switch was voluntary. Holta hadn't been banned from FIM events prior to his switch And as far as I know Norway had not invaded Sweden.
  18. So one off round wildcards for Emil and Artem then 😆
  19. What about Douglas or Tungate? Is there any reason they shouldn't enter? [A serious question given Fricke's wildcard]
  20. It's considered a win if Oxford manage to track two riders in a race.
