  1. You may think so I may think so Anyone with any tactical nous at all would think that. But ...
  2. Maybe they don't think they have anyone else up to the task of out racing Danyon Hume
  3. Got you. So it's an average assessed at his actual average.
  4. Is it not an actually achieved average from 2019?
  5. Met office is showing me a mere 30% chance of a brief (but heavy) shower. Don't forget even if there is rain Matt will be along with the 'magic' leaf-blower. I'm confident this will be on.
  6. 7 pairs,standard 21 heat format with 4-3-2-0 scoring. 1 Long Eaton 33 (Stonehewer 18, Dixon 15) 2 Reading 31 (Richardson 19, Mullett 12) 3 Exeter (Coles 21, Lanham 7)
  7. 4-3-2-0 was used in 1997 so it looks like the answer is yes.
  8. Would still be an upgrade on last year - Ben Morley and a guest (Roynon)
  9. It's early days and it is not unreasonable to sound a note of caution, but he scored 7+1 on his Championship debut. Dan Bewley only scored 5 points in his first 5 appearances at Championship level.
  10. 8 home winners in 23 years suggests there is some advantage too be had.
  11. But they announced the guest before the match was even finished - psychic powers?
  12. More cost cutting devaluing the product
  13. Probably no groups. Just 18 qual heats with each pair having 4 rides. Then top 4 to semis.
  14. As just turned 15's Brennan averaged 4 while Boughen averaged 5. BUT Brennan had 4+ years of youth experience beforehand. Boughen about 4 weeks In his first full NDL season when turning 16 he averaged 7.21. Boughen is currently averaging 7.31
  15. 31 out of 49 unchanged. But 5 of 7 rising stars have changed.
  16. Sadly none of the promoters have signed up to my suggestion that riders should have a single weighted GSA, so until then I'm afraid no - it is a logical corollary of the current system that such pairs of riders will exist.
  17. But if he hasn't got machinery he is withholding his services so yes there would be a facility.
  18. Top prize goes to Redcar for getting this meeting on, ensuring it ran smoothly and that the track was raceable and not just rideable. Ben Cook very impressive.
