NDLRC LINE-UP ANNOUNCED SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2023 THE list of competing riders for the National Development Riders’ Championship at Workington has been announced. The meeting takes place on Sunday September 24 and all eight NDL clubs will be represented by two riders. The draw itself will be made via British Speedway’s official X (formerly Twitter) feed, @speedwaygb this Tuesday evening at 7pm. The qualifying riders are as follows: James Pearson, Jack Smith (Belle Vue), Steve Boxall, Danny Phillips (Berwick), Adam Roynon, Max Clegg (Edinburgh), Ben Morley, Nathan Ablitt (Kent), Dan Thompson, Joe Thompson (Leicester), Alfie Bowtell, Lee Complin (Mildenhall), Jordan Jenkins, Henry Atkins (Oxford), Connor Bailey, Sam McGurk (Workington). How was qualification determined? It's not (as I assumed it would be) top two in September greensheets for each team as that would mean Luke Harrison should be the second Comets representative.

I think it depends on what you mean by 'false'. Realistically Tarasenko was squeezed between Brady Kurtz and Tobi Musialak in the 2021 Polish averages (he didn't ride in 2022 due to still being Russian). That would make 7.00 an appropriate Premiership assessment and with a realistic conversion factor of 1.3 (as opposed to the absurd 1.5) he would be on 9.00 in the Championship. That would be a fair assessment. So to the extent 5 is less than 9 (it is, I've checked) it is a false average. Is 5.00 correct within the rules? Yes, and is therefore a true assessment and not a false one. -

16 July 2022 v Edinburgh/Armadale (Unless you count 4 Nov 22 v Poole and Mildy which was ... at King's Lynn) -
There is also a problem in that the number of teams not in the play-offs is so small that guest options are very limited.

Asigning an average of 5.29, the average GSA of the riders likely to take his place, to r/r gives a combined GSA of 30.65 -
It's a perfectly valid argument, reasonably expressed. After all speedway culture often encourages and celebrates drug use. I was once handed drugs on the centre green by the Leicester management to give to a 15 year old rider.

Panthers v Sheffield abandoned at 32-28. But crucially it was not just one tyre, but several. We're there other tyre issues in the Brum meeting?

The SCB exists to regulate the sport, protect the integrity of their rulebook ( ha ha ) so it is outwith their remit, but one does wonder how the BSPL could be any less effective at achieving its basic mandate: to protect thd business interests of its members.

Any councillor who expresses an opinion would automatically be barred from involvement in determining the application. Most councillors will have little engagement with the detail until the agenda for the meeting is published a week before the planning meeting at which it is considered. A key factor will be the tenor of the report to the meeting and its recommendations.

A little tearful on departing realising that might be my last ever visit. (My first was in 78 and in 98 and 99 it was my 'local track'). What struck me was how there was absolutely no mention of the stadium's fate. It us almost as if someone in charge doesn't want people objecting!- 173 replies

Look at Brum. Nick Morris GSA 8.82 Actual average in 2023 league fixtures 6.84 Average of guests used since drug suspension : 8.86 Looks like a huge bonus(at least in terms of scoring capacity) for Birmingham to me.
