  1. What are the reasons for not picking Friday? (It also has the best weather forecast)
  2. Or perhaps the defining moment of Ipswich's season was Nick Morris' inability to piss into a little jar?
  3. Three weeks since the Plymouth two were fingered, shouldn't there be a hearing date by now?
  4. And on the subject of Polish speedway's credibility https://przegladsportowy.onet.pl/zuzel/ekstraliga/liderom-sparty-grozi-zawieszenie-klub-bedzie-sie-tlumaczyl/6zc2zvd?fbclid=IwAR1CWyunDmcfha5S5eyWVehG_14ySmEET-gX9a9oC6H_Mtq_dD909uXPqfE Could Artem and Tai really be that foolish? We await developments ...
  5. Would b#gger up Leicester v Mildenhall if Complin and Boughen were in Scotland.
  6. It is a trophy that has been staged almost every season since 1997. Just it's name changes every few years which is a bit silly (not to mention the BSPA promoting it as an exciting new competition when we all know it's the same old regional leagues plus knock-out).
  7. No. The owners are not obliged to run speedway or lease the stadium to anyone who would. They could reinstate the stadium, but more likely is that they will submit a further application for housing possibly after a couple of years of further decay.
  8. In which case they'll sell to the highest bidder - a commercial developer - as happened with Edinburgh's new site
  9. Senna Summers was seriously impressive, and thanks for confirming his parentage.
  10. One can't help wondering what kind of pressure was brought about to secure that agreement, after all Redcar strike me as one of the more competently run clubs
  11. Redcar team for 25th: 1 Guest for King 2 Guest for Wright 3 Guest for Riss 4 Guest for Bailey 5 Guest for Hume 6 Jason Edwards 7 Guest for Mulford (presumably Harrison) 28th would be better, but still missing Masters, Edwards and presumably Wright
  12. But the litigant in any case would be a member of the BSPL and would have access to such documents.
  13. In this context pretty obviously yes (along with BSPL AGM minutes)
  14. It's not so much a case of being allowed, more like encouraged by the BSPL while they throw the NDLRC under the bus.
  15. On CLRC 15.8.1 makes it clear that it is top riders by MA . No discretion. For the NDLRC the rules couldn't be more explicit, and I quote verbatim: 15.9 NDL RIDERS CHAMPIONSHIP 015.9.1 Qualifying Criteria To be confirmed I had a bit of a go at BSSPL about this in my programme notes for Oxford v Redcar - in hindsight I think I should have been ruder.
  16. For Hansard substitute BSPL media releases, principally those issued following the AGM.
  17. Not ambiguous? What's long term? 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months, 3 years? And what is proof? What if you get two conflicting doctors opinions? After all we know that all the existence of a sick note proves, is that someone was able to find a tame doctor to issue one?
  18. If you are a lawyer then presumably you are familiar with Hart v Pepper.
  19. Because the whole point of being a witness is to put a positive spin on the state of British Speedway, so not unreasonably, even if there is only a 30% chance of a new track he's going to talk it up.
  20. No Perry was above Boughen on the qualification date. Despite being announced in early Sept the field was done on 1 August greensheets. Madness I know. It also meant Sam McGurk was annound in original line-up despite having been overtaken by Luke Harrison in the Worky averages
  21. Of course, I forgot it had been moved. [I should have remembered that as my preview of the NDLRC now appears in a Cheetahs prog - today's - instead of a Chargers one]
