I think it is open to interpretation: 110. Oh for heaven's sake. The purpose of the MDL is to give riders just starting out competitive practice. Of course sometimes riders will be unable to turn up at short notice sometimes necessitating the use of rider replacement. And last year Layne Cuppit rode in virtually every match for virtually every team - GOOD FOR HIM - I'm sure the practice didn't do him any harm.

Another stat involving Poles and the Under 21: In the first 19 finals of the Euro/World under 21 championship the Poles had just one man on the rostrum (Piotr Swist). In the last 15 years they've managed 20 (8 gold, 6 silver, 6 bronze). That's a movement from 2% to 44% of the medals.
