There is also a claim for sayfutdinov over this period. i'd suggest the list stops with Crump and the last couple of years can't be determined until we have a bit more hindsight.

PERRIS WINTER OLYMPIQUE JANUARY 16TH latest entry list and news 5 Max Ruml 7 Novratil 10 Geist 45 Galvin 48 Talkington 60 Clark 90 Strudwick 109 Nermarnik 111 Dillon Ruml 122 Siegel 140 Kurtis Hamill 150 Barry 153 Moreau 155 Dalbey 163 Davis 170 Perrault (match race only) 211 Brown 215 Willis 277 Rishton 220 Bryant 222 Leedy 227 Whitcomb 245 Fuson 246 Barrett 266 Jade 273 Gayle 290 Hartke 293 Valdez 345 Richards 351 Bennett Only the first five plus Dillon Ruml could really be described as Division One riders (although I would imagine Kurtis Hamill will progress to D1 fairly quickly) Question: which current Eastbourne rider has ridden at Perris?
-
assuming riders are still being paid per point and that stars get more per point then the current race formula means paying (just as an example): Lindgren 7 points, Thorsell 7 points Revert to the old formula and you pay Lindgren 9 and Thorsell 5 which will cost more.
-
Don't think Snow is of the requisite quality and while Nicol looks to have potential he's not yet 18 and would struggle to reach a decent average and would then be unlikely to get a permit for 2017.
-
Only credible possibility on that front is Max Ruml
-
Looking at the lineup I'd be amazed if he finished in the top three, even though there are only half a dozen Division One standard riders competing Ed Kennett rode in the equivalent meeting last year and finished fourth.

Rejoice rejoice, they'll be dancing in the streets of Leicester

Key to success is building a team of riders who are likely to improve. so here is how they did in 2015. (starting Green Sheet to Final Green Sheet) All the biggest increases came from riders starting on assessed averages: 1 Zach Wajtknecht +6.51 2 Bradley Wilson-Dean +4.83 3 Ellis Perks +4.14 4 Daniel Spiller +3.63 5 George Wood +2.90 6 Connor Dwyer +2.44 Of those who started the season with real averages the biggest improvers were: 1 Danny Ayres +2.58 2 Rob Shuttleworth +2.48 3 Kyle Hughes +2.45 (on 2013 average) 4 Rob Blacklock + 2.29 5 Martin Knuckey +2.23 6 Matt Williamson +2.09 There were very few riders who decreased their average (due to the low starting limit). The worse performers were: 1 Jake Knight -1.62 (on 2013 average) 2 Connor Coles -1.04 3 Dan Halsey -0.99 Credit to Coventry Storm - all of their starting top six increased their averages by at least a point.
-
And you would expect 2016 Danny Ayres and 2016 James Shanes to be improvements on their 2015 counterparts. PS Of all the riders who started the 2015 NL season with a real average Danny Ayres produced the biggest increase in GSA of any rider in the league.

Never mind that was he on the grassy knoll in Dallas? P.S. Was that John Hyam I saw in the bookstore depository?

2002 - i.e. the same as the one in the wiki reference!
-
Last year David Speight came back after nine years out. And despite never reaching a six point average in his previous CL career averaged a respectable 4.69 in 2015. Clifton's comeback may not work, but if it does there is potentially a huge upside.
-
Although amusingly if you look at wikipedia it claims its source is Rob Bamford's book - which can't be true as that references Crutcher not Westerburg!!

Don't forget some of those riders (eg Craig Hodgson) hadn't ridden in the UK at the time of the event. You're a better man than me - I can't remember Tony Rose and I had to look up Nigel Tremelling - i think it is fair to say he didn't have much of an impact in the UK Nigel Tremelling Born: Australia British Clubs: Poole (1987) Year..Clubs..Meetings..Rides..Points..Bonus..Average..Maxima 1987..Poole..1..1..0..0..0.00 Read more: http://wwosbackup.proboards.com/thread/2887#ixzz3wCqAjaHG

Scunthorpe Scorpions 2016?
arnieg replied to Paul Johnson's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Err not sure about that. He could be signed by someone, and then he could apply for one. But given his past history he isn't guaranteed to get one. Rye House signed him last year but he didn't ride in Britain despite a rostrum finish in the Queensland State Championship. -
I'd put forward 1987 at Mildura: 1 Steve Regeling 14 2 Steve Baker 12 3 Glyn Taylor 10 4 Ashley Norton 10 5 Craig Hodgson 10 6 Mick Poole 9 7 Dave Jackson 9 8 Troy Butler 8 9 Tony Rose 8 10 Stephen Davies 7 11 David Cheshire 6 12 Mark Fiora 4 13 Bill Barrett 4 14 Chris Watson 4 15 Nigel Alderton 3 16 Nigel Tremelling 2 17 Paul Wheatland 0R 17 Simon Lock 0R Steve Regeling averaged less than 5 for King's Lynn in 1986,Stephen Davies was a reserve in in the same team, while Fiora and Cheshire were National League heat leaders. Poole averaged less than 5 for King's Lynn in 1987 and Steve Baker had a similar average in 1985, his last British season. Hodgson was a second-string for Peterborough in 1987. Glynn Taylor was near the end of his career, while Troy Butler had averaged 2.22 in his only British season to date (1985 at Oxford). He did go on to be a second string in the BL and somehow made it to the 1989 World Final.

Not Denmark. Rode for Outrup in 2013 and hasn't been active in Denmark since.
-
I think the statement: COMPILED BY ROBERT BAMFORD gives a clue as to the source!
-
That would exclude the next Mark Loram (he was born in Malta). And it clearly isn't the rule as Ellis Perks is Australian bred but has a place at Plymouth. But I would like to understand on basis Mitchell Davey would be eligible given that last week he was racing in the Queensland State title.
-
And I don't think Paul Starke would be too chuffed either.
-
Not really - Pinjar Park WA is just 142 metres. Gillman is 300m, Mildura 302m. Undera, Kurri Kurri & Gosford are all 320m. Among recent regular tracks only North Brisbane at 350 metres could really be described as large. The big tracks like Claremont, Sydney Showground, Rowley Park are all long gone. Rosebank is 294m by the way.

Attempting To Create A World Speedway Rating

Nice to see a second string doing so well! -
Town and Country Planning Act 1990 section 215. Doesn't need to be unsafe, merely be an eyesore, but that can be subjective and councils will generally only use their power in the more extreme cases where the owner has proved uncooperative.
-
With Auty at reserve? I think not. But unfortunately Lions will not be in the PL, so stand by for some right tonkings.
-
Think you've overlooked the announcement that it's rider replacement for second strings in such circumstances 2016. (Although Masters will probably be a heat leader for some of the season.)
