  1. And you propose a system that would have given Tomas Suchanek and David Kuwaja GP places!
  2. Jesper's got Pawlicki qualifying, not Dudek. Edit: I see you spotted the oversight.
  3. Apparently Slater Lightcap is in. Who's he replacing?
  4. Poole cheat, blah blah blah This is getting boring. They are only missing one rider, several plausible replacements have been identified, they will simply book one (or two) and getting on with it.
  5. I think he's still some way behind Luke Priest and David Mason on appearances
  6. I thought the track was financed through prudential borrowing, paid out of rental income charged to the Speedway promotion. That's why a seat near the starting gate costs £29 at the NSS versus £22 and most tracks. That extra £7 is going towards paying for the stadium.
  7. He's been to Cowley 6 times this year. Twice with Belle Vue, once as a guest and in the Pairs for Poole, as well as the two you refer to. Although he's only scored double figures once he's always looked capable of doing so.
  8. And that's before you consider what is the philosophical difference between the two. [Consider Ryan Douglas and his infected wound - the wound (an injury) didn't stop him riding, but the infection (an illness) did - so should his absence be regarded as through injury or illness?]
  9. Seven days applies to illness, not injury. So had Howarth claimed to be ill on Sunday rather than injured he'd have had to miss Wednesday's match (and the two Sheffield fixtures, and Friday v Edinburgh))
  10. 19 years old, 5pt average, not made the progress hoped for. That's where Dan Thompson was 12 months ago - sure any team would have been happy to benefit from the progress he made in 2024.
  11. Piffle. If Scunny had held on to the 5-1 they gated on in ht 14 it would have been 92-88. And then it only needed Masters or Nicholls to jump the start (both were on warnings) in ht 13 or 15 and one of those 5-1s would have gone west. Oh and with Howarth having beaten both Masters and Nicholls it seems down right wrong to suggest that the Scorps had no riders capable of beating the Cheetahs top two. At 81-all with a heat to go Oxford may have been favourites, but there was considerable doubt and still room for failure.
  12. 5 matches (lowest score 10) have replaced 5 matches from last year (highest score 10)
  13. 2022 1.42 2023 3.29 2024 5.10 Doubt there are more than a couple of riders that have put that much on their average over two years, can you think of any?
  14. He has an average of 4.11. The rule you are thinking of says it can't go below 4.00, so not an issue.
  15. This sounds familiar. I think the answer is that old green sheets are used. The August averages show Vuolas and Barker ahead of Kemp.
  16. I hope you are wrong because there is a Jordan Jenkins sized hole in the Oxford team on Wednesday which Anders Rowe would fill perfectly
