  1. Just get in your time machine, go back to October 2020 and apply for your refund!
  2. e-mail in my inbox timed at 9.59am Apply for refund before end of Oct or ticket rolls over to next year's event at Belle Vue (date unspecified)
  3. Made his Swedish debut for Njudungarna circa 1965 and was still riding for Vetlanda in 1997. A mere 33 years riding for the same team.
  4. But they do know that Crump (J) was born in Bristol... I believe they mentioned it once!
  5. Really! 'There's Dudek's father, no idea what his name is' Here's some clues: He rode for 23 years in the Polish League (14 of them with ZG) He appeared in 7 Polish Championship Finals (including a podium finish) He competed in this match: http://www.speedwayw.pl/dmp/1992/zgwr_1.htm
  6. Isn't it going to be the final meeting of the season in the international calendar making post match quarantine somewhat redundant.
  7. Yes - Why did Laguta even come out for his final ride in ht 19? There were no GP points at stake and he'd already guaranteed himself a first gate pick in his Semi
  8. My spirits soared to see a fixture list that is actually... a list of fixtures, rather than a list of postponements.
  9. Ipswich, 26 September and yes. However if you go to Ippo website the latest news is from 31 July!
  10. A good question. I would assume by top GSAs. However most riders have two, PL and CL. There are 17 Brits (inc Schlein) named in PL teams, including Ellis who might be riding in Poland (if fit). Of these Kemp, Ashley Morris and Rowe might lose out to the top riders named only in the CL namely Ritchie Worrall, Kennett and Auty. In practice I suspect that one or two of these may simply decline the opportunity to race. I do hope that plans are underway for a British under 21 & 19 champs as well.
  11. Interesting that despite the dilution in quality there are still only six Swedes in the top 20 of the averages. (Freddie L and Peter Ljung not amongst them for different reasons).
  12. Wasn't there a suggestion they would have to ride home matches in Poland?
  13. A fact. Daugavpils were denied promotion for this reason. Of course rules can always be changed if there is sufficient will to do so.
  14. An odd statement given that only one rider has finished in the top ten EVERY year for the last eight years: Matej Zagar.
  15. Zagar is clearly in the world's top ten at present (look at Ekstraliga averages) so clearly deserves to be in GP. What is bizarre is that he has qualified before turning a wheel in this year's GP.
  16. I think if either finish outside they are likely to get a wild card pick. But it means Pi. Pawlicki, Drabik or Smektala are unlikely to get a shot no matter they perform for the rest of the season.
  17. If Milik beats Zagar it's a 4 man run off. And KK could come last!
  18. If Fricke doesn't qualify tonight he looks to be well behind Jack Holder and Doyle for next year's series wildcard nominations
  19. Because the Aussies held a a qualifyer (the Aussie Championship) and Fricke beat Holder.
  20. And the introduction of quarantine for those returning from Croatia (where the GP Challenge takes place tomorrow) underlines the wisdom of your decision not to attempt to organise any tours for the rest of this season.
  21. Including car park, admission and prog Stoke and Kent were both £17 last year. Belle Vue at £12 exc car park was the cheapest. So this is broadly in line with NL admission costs.
  22. So did Palin score 7 or 8 points? 7: BSPA site, live updates, speedwaya-z.cz, Jordan Palin on facebook, Steven Goret on facebook 8 FIM https://www.fim-europe.eu/events/1037 The issue is who came second in heat 20 Palin or Goret?
