You've missed the point. I'm assuming the rules will be similar. In which case Vissing doesn't get a Visa because he hasn't reached the Danish Championship Final. Smetana is currently fourth in the 'erzatsz' Czech Championship, and that might be enough. Skorja will be in top 3 of Slovenian Champ (unless something very odd happens) so ought to qualify for a Visa.

If post Brexit immigration rules apply in a similar way to Australia and USA then Skorja will probably get a work permit, Smetana might but Vissing wouldn't.

Lambert v Jack Holder v other top young riders
arnieg replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Both have impressed in the few short weeks of speedway we have seen this year. Both have advanced their careers, both will probably be pleased with the progress towards their goals they have made. But you can't make a definitive judgement on a handful of meetings in two months. -
Brits in U19 Championship Prague Quarantine?

So basically as long as Palin didn't stop at a service station and hug a Frenchman (or woman) he's ok -
Swedish Elitserien 2020

His last season at 250cc (2018) produced the following Division One record: Matches 8 rides 30 points 90 average 3.00 maximums all the way -
I doubt it. Adam is 24 and these days most riders peak between 26 and 32. The number peaking before that (Batchelor, Karol Zabik, Ed Kennett) is small. I fully expect Ellis to continue improving for another 3-4 years and under the circumstances his seeding seems justified. He's not ready for the GP series yet, but in three years he just might be and the Challenge will be good experience for him.

No. There was a rumour involving two speedway administrators, but Ford was not one of them.

I would like to think so, but doesn't Belle Vue have the same problem as Leicester, i.e. a local lockdown. -

Those line-ups contain only one Pole (Adrian Gala - the man who rode in Vladisvostok and Vastervik on consequtive days last season) and just three foreigners averaging over six (= CRA of 1.50). Highest averaged rider appearing in round 1 is Ukranian Andrey Karpov (1.846). Only two other foreigners (Lambert & Fricke) and the top 4 Swedes (but no Fast Freddie) exceed a 1.50 CRA. With plans to restart the DSL stalled it looks like an opportunity for a lot of young Danes (e.g. Mads Hansen, Marcus Birkemose) to make their mark. Expect Phillip Hellstrom-Bangs to shine. -

Is the Danish League likely to happen? The most recent news on the Danske Metal Speedway League site is a month old press release which hopes for an August start? -

I believe he ONCE rode in an ice speedway event two years ago. However he has been a talented up and coming Russian speedway youngster for a few years (he's 25 now). For example he averaged more than Tungate, Klindt and Masters in Poland last year. You do him a disservice by being so dismissive. -
Jan Graversen and Henning Bager?

I just got a PayPal receipt and queried it with Sunny. They confirmed that the PayPal receipt is your ticket. -
But the lease is with BSI who are throwing in the towel. Poole speedway appear to have a lease which no longer exists as they can't sublet from a business that doesn't have an interest in the stadium. My guess is that Poole speedway will be able to negotiate a new lease with the council. We will see speedway again at Wimborne road. BUT I would speculate that the lease would be (say) seven years. During which time Poole council will adopt a new local plan (which will designate the site for housing) and find a development partner. And we know what happens after that.

I see a whole slew of baseball matches have been cancelled after two large (and unconnected?) outbreaks. Miami Marlins (19 cases) and St Louis Cards (13 cases) are both going to struggle to make up the missed matches.

Spectators - that's a step forward And looks like a good day for Celina. -
Quite possibly. I doubt Janniro would want to come over and both Becker and Nicol expected to be riding in Europe.
-
Even more surprising as there was a qualifying round in January and Becker finished ahead of Nicol. https://www.speedwaybikes.com/res2020_w/Perris-20200111b.htm

Outdoor entertainment is (or shortly will be) allowed with audiences. Perhaps Stock car racing is not a sport, but "an entertainment"
