  1. Last 12 matches he averaged 3.18 (exc bonus) maybe there's your reason. (He looked great when I saw him but that was in a brief purple patch in July/Aug)
  2. Why wouldn't he be?? (Hint Denmark has a Summer break in July, so no clashes there)
  3. OK I missed Morris' paid 10 (still less than 3 of Hume's scores) but by quoting Morris and Shanes' figures INCLUDING bonus and showing they are still BELOW Hume's WITHOUT bonus you are rather pro in my case.
  4. So by that logic it makes more sense to compare away form. And what do we find? Hume's superiority is far more evident. Hume 4.85 Morris 4.00 Shanes 3.77. Shanes and Morris failed to reach double figures away from home last year. In contrast Hume was paid for double figures at Edinburgh, Kent and Leicester. Over the last four years there isn't much to choose between them, but in 2021 Hume was the better rider.
  5. Absolutely, it is an indication of potential - there is no guarantee that it will be fulfilled
  6. A 17 year old who's world under 21 final performances are, for his age, better than: Zmarzlik Dudek Pawlicki Janowski Kubera Smektala ...should do ok
  7. And you'd be right last two non Russian winners were: 15 March 2003 Bauer 9 March 2003 Sereniuos .. since when (at a quick count) 139 GPs have been won by Russians.
  8. However that is not a rational approach, as because of the destrengthening of the NDL all other averages will have been inflated so a 7pt 2018 average is more equivalent to an 8pt current GSA.
  9. But that would still suggest a company that has probably lost in excess of £600k in the last five years.
  10. Only seen the last two, gosh I suddenly feel so young
  11. Are you sure it's not the Royston Vaisey thread?
  12. It's still during the Danish close season and a full 6 months since 2021 season in Denmark ended. It may not be the most exciting of events, but the timing isn't that irrational.
  13. Didn't the Wiesbock's get banned for that?
  14. According to a Mildenhall prog the Fen Tiger Cubs lost 39-38 with Mark Bilner scoring a maximum. There was a return match on 8 July at West Row.
  15. Maxymillian Bogdanowicz? Bradley Wilson-Dean? Ernesto Matjusoneks? Philip Hellstrom-Bangs? At least the talks aren't frivolous
  16. Sounds plausible. Would Josh Embleton be another option for the final spot?
  17. Of course everything was so much better before Chapman came along
  18. I believe there were other reasons behind that particular decision.
  19. For riders like Kennett and Newman yes. For those who joined other teams their final GSAs are shown (which are of course after removing Eastbourne results) under their new teams.
  20. Yes, but fairly infrequently, probably not a good choice. The Dane with UK experience who was on song last year was Rene Bach.
  21. Grajczonek is European, he uses Polish ancestry to ride in Poland (who'd have guessed with a name like that!) The problem is that since brexit European riders need work permits too.
