  1. My reading is: New averages on 1 June see reserves unchanged [Poole have no more matches before 23rd cut-off] 27 May Coops rides his 6th match 3 June Coops gets average and Newman (5.03 vs Bowes 5.05) drops to reserve with Rushen moving up. 23 June average cut-off. Averages updated but with only one match since 23rd May there will be little change. However Newman, Bowes [if still in the team] and Cairns will be sufficiently close any two of them could be reserve for July.
  2. Two matches is not a large enough sample to provide meaningful data. Remind me what Lidsey scored last night. [You won't find me arguing about your assessment of Klindt though]
  3. Lidsey's away average is 7.36 up from 6.43 last year - now that's what I call pants
  4. Or if Dan Bewley was injured and Jaimon Lidsey looked like a possible answer to their problems ...
  5. Well if the owner was Mark Lemon and Belle Vue needed to win their final fixture at Northampton ...
  6. I would guess that Mark Lemon is a nominee and not the beneficial owners. The beneficial owners are probably the BSPL or some subsets of its membership, possibly in conjunction with the Speedway Futures crowd.
  7. The earliest any team in Poland's top two tiers finishes is 4 September. Last scheduled fixture in Premiership is 3 September.
  8. A good innings, started his career at California.
  9. So if Workington were six points under the limit they could use Kyle Howarth for Max Perry. How long before Max Perry has a 'workshop injury' Does Howarth ride at reserve?
  10. Don't worry he'll be guesting on Monday
  11. So what was he thinking about when he got zero at Grudziadz in his last Polish fixture?
  12. For the finalists it is 18-16-14-12, and for the others it is 11- 10-9-8 etc based on heat points scored. In the overall standings riders who compete in all rounds drop their lowest score.
  13. At 14 competitors that would be the largest field for a BYC 500 round since June 2016 at King's Lynn Final: Kyle Bickley, Jordan Jenkins, Tom Brennan (Anders Rowe and Dan Gilkes were also in top six)
  14. Funnily enough this was in the last Oxford programme [26/4 Chargers v Middlesbrough] Go back a decade and a list of the top British teens would have been headed by Robert Lambert and Adam Ellis. While they are making their mark in the international speedway world, others, notably Josh Bates, Max Clegg, Zach Wajtknecht, Liam Carr and James Shanes – have faded from view. [Wajtknecht is World Long Track Champion and Shanes still appears on NORA tracks.] No matter how well structured youth progression is (and it could be better), there will always be a high attrition rate. Let’s hope many of today’s talented teens are still in action in a decade’s time.
  15. I could say that about Jason Crump
  16. Thete was a very long thread on this going right back to the 1930s. 1983 was the year that caused most debate. @lucifer sam and @norbold were two of the main contributors
  17. Michael Jepsen Jensen won it on 7 [2012 - Horsens]
  18. Pretty sure Cierniak beat Musielak in the run-off for the last qualifying place.
  19. Co-incidentally the two youngest teams in the league now that Middlesbrough have been de-Triggered.
  20. Co-incidentally the two youngest teams in the league now that Middlesbrough have been de-Triggered.
  21. It's the West Country - are you sure they are not burning witches?
