  1. I'm heading out, but after 11 races it's 37-28 to Stoke. No TR used, just 2 finishers only in heat 11.
  2. I just hope the 2 Stoke boys do well/don't get hurt!
  3. Past that, I would imagine that you should still be able to apply with a hotmail account. I know I did
  4. So, Ben Reade is the final rider. Any thoughts on him?
  5. Just a quick one, the Stoke website says that you are at Stoke on the 16th, but you have Workington listed? I know the original plan was Stoke (Earlier in the thread) so are you not visiting now?
  6. I would guess it's Franklin and Chessell As it's already on the BSPA site...
  7. So, given that we will probably sign a 3 pointer as the 7th rider, what do people think of this team? I know about Lambert and Atkin, and I know a bit about Webster, but not too sure on the others. Isherwood has the trouble of being remembered by Stoke fans as a wobbler, and the other 2 haven't ridden for Stoke! Can we get optimistic?
  8. Jamie Pickard is signing number 6 on a 4.24 average http://z11.invisionfree.com/Pottie_Power/index.php?showtopic=2261
  9. Yes, a rider can't double down if his PL average is above 4.
  10. James Sarjeant joins Stoke on a 3.91 http://www.stokepotters.co/D/news.htm
  11. James Sarjeant makes it 5 for Stoke http://www.stokepotters.co/D/news.htm
  12. As an outside bet, and a very outside bet at that, Glen Phillips would come in on a 6.10, thanks to his doing 11 meetings for Stoke in 2009 averaging 3.05. He never got a new average due to needing 12 meetings then, but other riders have been re-assessed due to the change in rules (Theo Pijper being a prime example) so this would put him firmly in the IoW average bracket.
  13. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing Pickard on about 4.5? leaves 6.5 for 2 reserves.
  14. I know you like your figures so here goes: 8.13 average in 08, 5.12 in 09, only rode 3 meetings in 2010. Could be a hit or a bust. *puts rope down for now*
  15. Was a laugh, as it always is. Nothing massively serious, and lots of laughs. As for the individual meeting, Atkin was a deserved winner, and you could tell how much it meant to him!
  16. Also signing Barrie Evans so long as he can get some sponsorship down there.
  17. I really hope not. He is one rider I want as far away from Stoke as possible. EDIT: To expand on this, I can see Jamie Pickard joining from Plymouth, and I would love to see one of the Worral's. I can see us potentially going into the season with two 3 pointers at reserve, one of whom I hope is Brendan Freemantle!
  18. Bumping with the third signing, Tim Webster joins on a full transfer from Newport. 6.68 average
  19. On the Stoke forum, Tim Webster is the third signing on a 6.68
  20. So just over 19 points for the top 2! That's possibly the definition of top heavy!
  21. IoW is nice if you fancy a few days down there!
  22. No idea, but given that the Stoke track is normally pretty fair, it should be a good meeting! Also means, Stoke should qualify for it
