You shall indeed see me on bend 1! Hoping for a Stoke win, given that Rambo will be set for 6 rides, and Pickard, Sarj and Atkin between them should score enough to see us do well!
-
This could be very interesting. Stoke have the top end strength (You would think) but Mildenhall have 7 riders capable of scoring well. I'm going with Mildenhall by 6.
-
Stoke still have: Home: Dudley, Newport, Hackney, Buxton Away: Mildenhall, King's Lynn, Dudley, Buxton, Belle Vue

Stoke have meetings on the 10th and 11th...any bad weather could scupper our chances!
-
Only a short bit, but here goes: "Luke Chessell won the National Shield with last week's 4TT champs Dudley early doors this campaign, before losing his place and moving south. Chessell's Heathens career stalled after injury here practicing for his ill-fated appearance in the Under 21 semi."

I do, but it's filled in...why?

Can't complain at a win!

WAHOOOOOOO Just got back to my hotel room. That's all I have to say

Looking forward to this one, will be making the trip down! I think Stoke could pinch a win here! I hope anyway!
-
I'm looking forward to this one. New riding order for Stoke, and with our top 5 all in pretty good form I think we should have enough to take the three points. Will be interesting to see the battles between Garrity/Howarth and the Stoke top 5 though.

So what would their solution be? For each rider to have a minimum of 4 rides, and for 8 teams to be represented, you need 48 heats (2 semi final's and a final) 48 heats would take approximately 4 years. So the choice is reduce the teams, or keep it as it is. If you reduce the teams, you are left with 4 teams (As would be in the final)...so who missed out? Stoke, Hackney, Dudley, Belle Vue, Scunfield? All 5 of those teams will think they could win the Four's, so which one isn't even allowed to enter?
-
Teams (According to Stoke website) Stoke: Simon Lambert, Jaimie Pickard, Gareth Isherwood, Tony Atkin, Tim Webster, Ben Reade, James Sarjeant King's Lynn: Kyle Hughes, Lewis Kerr (Rider Replacement), Tom Stokes, Jake Knight, James Cockle, Liam Rumsey, Stefan Nielsen

Stoke to win by about 20. Yes, there will be updates, so long as the weather holds up.

If I knew how to prepare a track, then I would. However, this isn't my area of expertise. Surely Jayne, with the greatest of respect, you must realise that the track has been awful for a few weeks. How you remedy this, I don't know, but it needs to be sorted.
-
Stoke was called off on the Friday night, Buxton's track has been tripe all season, and Belle Vue's track has never been that good. Had you chosen Wolves on the Monday, for example, it would probably have been better!
-
But they lost Brundle, so I think it's swings and roundabouts there! Whoever makes it to the final, be it IoW or Mildenhall, it should be two good meetings, and I just hope that we can come out on top!
-
Solid performance from Stoke. Dudley did well to come back from 6 down, and both teams threw points away. I can't help thinking that Dudley will be looking for revenge in the league!
-
I presume you shall be there? Part of me hopes that Stoke just get 5-1's in the first four heats and that means we are through! The longer it goes, the more I will panic!
-
So, tomorrow is the second leg! Anybody think Dudley can pull this out of the bag? I sure hope not! I fancy them to win the meeting by about 10, but not enough to go through.
-
I think hate is a strong word. I liked how passionate about your team you were, to the point of cheering a 4-2 in heat 15 when 32 points down! I just wish there were more teams whose fans were as passionate. The issue comes, and will always come, when one or 2 individuals mistake passion for agression (And I am not suggesting that anything like this happened at Stoke!)
-
I never in a million years thought we would hit a 30 point lead! I honestly thought that it was going to be closer, maybe 8-10 points in it, setting it up nicely for the second leg. I think with the riders we have, we should have enough to get through (Especially given that Webster and Pickard are used to the tight tracks, and Sarjeant used to ride for you!) Still, I wouldn't begrudge you being 24 points up going into heat 15
