  1. Thanks Tanya, I can stop sweating now (I think)! BTW what are the admission prices at Newport for a PL match?
  2. Only 8 weeks to go now! Will they wait until the last minute to send the tickets out . Surely they will have been printed by early May at the latest. Hopefully I will get my posted out to Oz before I fly out at the end of May.
  3. Hi Ozyace. I couldn't make it to the track this time How did it all go? I was also wondering what is the length of the new track. Also any hints of future dates for forthcoming events would be appreciated
  4. By "Bossman" I assume you mean Mr BSI If that's the case, is there a chance of another Australian GP + a NZ one as well
  5. Hey, these Danes are pretty switched on I ordered my tickets on Thursday and received them in Australia 6 days later on Wednesday - wake up Cardiff ticket people (why are they so slow )
  6. Nice photos Lissa BTW the 1st round of the Aust Championships is on this Sunday on Channel 9. 1.00 pm in Sydney, but in Perth it's on at 1145 am for half an hour.
  7. A good place to start is Travel planner There is an English version to make it easier. For example, just outside København H (main station) get on bus #15 (destination Østerbro, Ryparken). This drops you right outside the Parken stadium in 20 minutes. Another example, train from København H (RE1071 or RE2162) to Østerport station [7 minutes], then bus #15 heading NW (destination Østerbro, Ryparken) 5 minutes - drops you right at the stadium. This website København H should give you a good idea of the main station/bus stops layout Hopes this helps
  8. Tickets are now available for the upper tiers on back straight. Only 295 Dkk
  9. When do the tickets usually get posted out - any clues from last year
  10. Thanks for that Joanne, have you bought your tickets yet? If you have, where are you going to sit this year
  11. Does anyone know when the upper tier seating will be released?
  12. Hey Pinstripe, do you get better tickets and/or at a lower price this way
  13. Thanks to NN and GG4E for that info..sounds like the back straight might be place to look for. I wonder what the lower tier is like though any others with comments?
  14. Would anyone who has been to the Parken stadium be able to offer advice on best seats for viewing the GP? I know that a few have indicated that sitting at the extremities of the track, i.e. the middle of bends 1/2 & 3/4 isn't the best. Also which is better - lower or upper tier? I also noticed on the ticket website Danish GP tickets that some of the seats aren't available (yet?) - such as the upper tier on the back straight and lower tier of main straight. Any idea whether these get released later? Hope someone can help me out here
  15. Hi Sunnygirl and Tomaz (and any others who have been to the Slovenian GP). Do you know whether the practice session on the Friday before the meeting is open to the public, and if it is, when does it take place. I'm just wondering whether to get to Slovenia on the Thursday or the Friday. Thanks in anticipation.
  16. Hi sunnygirl, thanks for the information. I guess you are Slovenian as you posted your greetings from Krsko?
  17. Hi Tomaz thanks for that. I'm hoping to get over to the UK in May 2005 and would love to get over to Slovenia for the GP
  18. Calling Tomaz Pozrl Hi Tomaz I remember that you posted a link to the stadium layout at Krsko but the url doesn't work anymore. Do you have any other plans available for seating and standing sectors at Stadion Matije Gubca. Thank you in advance for your assistance
  19. It's called Ljubljana Resort. I don't think they have a website but I did a search on google na dit came up with a few booking pages. Email address is ac.jezica@gpl.si <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks for that Rob. That's one that appealed to me when I was doing a search too. Otherwise M Hotel looks reasonable at around 50 Euro per night B & B.
  20. What was the name of the holiday village Rob? And does it have a website or, if not, contact details?
  21. Well I've got a quote of £81.96 return to Venice with easyjet flying out Friday returning Monday flying via birmingham, but if you fly to Verona that would be nearer. Guess it just depends on which airlines fly from your local airport. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Quote from EasyJet East Midlands-Venice return for £51 leaving Thursday back on Sunday
  22. I've got to agree that Coatbridge must surely be the steepest banked track there has ever been. Has anyone got photos of the Coatbridge track (banking) it's sounds awesome !
  23. From Australian Speedway Motorcycles website http://www.ausm.info/race_results/2004-200...iwana_30_10.htm N.B Carly Gittus is a female rider, just graduated from junior ranks. 29th October 2004 BIKES BACK AT KWINANA One of the highlights of the opening 'Fast Friday' meeting at the Quit Motorplex Kwinana Beach on October 29 was the return of the Solo motorcycles for the first times in several years. Eight riders were on hand, with some swapping of bikes going on in the pits. The racing action was pretty good with a total of six events being held on the night. Man of the meeting was Shannon Wearne who won the first four events - then crossed the line second in both of the following handicaps. Good to see Corey Blackman racing again in WA following his stint in Britain. Corey scored two seconds and a third in his three rides at the meeting. His brother Lee Blackman was the best of the rest, notching several placings but also getting a couple of exclusions for detouring out onto the car track. Also looking good - and gaining valuable experience - was youngster Carly Gittus. Also enjoying their first outing for many months were Mark Jovic, newcomer Casey Johansen, Nigel Roberts and Troy Tomlinson. SOLOS - Quit Motorplex Kwinana Beach - Friday October 29, 2004. Heat 1: 1. Shannon Wearne, 2. Corey Blackman, 3. Carley Gittus, 4. Lee Blackman. Heat 2: 1. Shannon Wearne, 2. Corey Blackman, 3. Carley Gittus, 4. Casey Johansen, 5. Nigel Roberts, 6. Lee Blackman. Heat 3: 1. Shannon Wearne, 2. Lee Blackman, 3. Corey Blackman, 4. Carley Gittus, 5. Casey Johansen, 6. Nigel Roberts. Heat 4: 1. Shannon Wearne, 2. Lee Blackman, 3. Carly Gittus, 4. Casey Johansen, 5. Mark Jovic, 6. Nigel Roberts. Heat 5 (Handicap): 1. Casey Johansen, 2. Shannon Wearne, 3. Nigel Roberts, 4. Mark Jovic. Heat 6 (Handicap): 1. Lee Blackman, 2. Shannon Wearne, 3. Casey Johansen, 4. Mark Jovic, 5. Troy Tomlinson.
