Where did you get that from Rob? If it is the line-up think it looks pretty impressive in terms of up and coming riders. The Young Guns meetings we've had at Poole in the best have always been IMO some of the most entertaining of the season. Looking forward to this one as something a bit different.

I wonder if that was lost in translation as trying to attack him on track...as in making a move? The actual quote being "Nasty fall from Carpanese on the first bend, when he tried to attack Dryml" . I did comment on it to my t'other half when the site updated for that heat. Perhaps Tomaz might be able to expand on it?

We don't know the full story other than comments on the updates so don't be too quick to jump to conclusions. And Lukas, more than any other rider will be aware of the consequences of what can happen on track after his own (Slovenia anyone?) and his brothers brushes with the downside of the sport. I'm sure 'taking another rider out' if as accused was not done with the intent of injury.

Glad that Bjarne is safely through but very sorry to hear about David Howe. I've always been a big Lukas fan but reading those updates he does seem to have had a propensity for wiping other riders out tonight. I only hope it was lost in translation.

Aww sorry I missed you. I was late getting to the PoW (about 3.30 - thw bus i was on stopped at services just outside Cardiff...I'm still asking why!) before chatting for about an hour or so but didn't that many forum peeps, then I rushed off to see the Academy races. Did you finally meet Starman?

Think you're right Ghostwalker. Psychologically Crump has the right way of deflecting attention by admitting he's not at the races. People will say 'oh well fair enough' rather than him talking the talk and not performing. Take sthe pressure of him. He's still 6th (I think) and the points are close between a lot of riders - still a long way to go. And I'm not even a Crump fan

I think definitely. Great atmosphere, great raing and great company to quote BobC on the other thread. And a British winner to boot - it doesn't come much better than that. And yes, got totally drenched too going back to the coach. Sat in cold, soggy clothes for 3 hours and then got soaked again waiting for a taxi. Great fun

What a night! So glad I went after my 24th hour change of mind and had a bloody amazing day on so many levels Not even the weather could dampen that buzz and a big thank you to Dave and Brendan Johnson, and BobC for coming to my rescue with a ticket and the pass. Could have hugged them all. Great to see the young lads given chance to ride but such a shame it can't be a bit closer to the main event. Nice to meet up with a few people beforehand but the rain seemed to affect the usual pre-meeting turnout in the PoW. But Bomber - jeez what a star! Rode like a man possessed and I defy any sporting spectacle to out-do that noise when he won the Final. Credit as others have said to Crump and Hancock for their actions on the podium. Great to see. I'm still slightly hoarse today and my ears are still ringing but it was so worth it. Can't wait to watch the re-run at 3pm to see the bits I missed. Well done Bomber!!!

Cheers Steve, I should be able to get a ticket from the box office for the top tier during the day. That's always empty-ish! Just looking forward to tomorrow now. Just have to make sure I avoid the Fat Face shop or I'll miss everything!
