I've always picked up the star from shops, but got my first one on subscription last week. There is no speedway, but that was the best issue in ages. Well done to you all.

A simple case of restraint of trade.

This start time fiasco is the final straw for me. The fact that Ipswich have been conning the fans since the 1950's is no excuse at all. Speedway needs a radical shake up and Buster Chapman really needs to get a grip and come out with some official statement here...

As a passing Ipswich fan on his way back from our win at Workington, we decided to take this in and what an amazing place to watch speedway. Not sure how many home fans there are as Brum seemed to bring most of the crowd in. However, this is a place that you really need to get to once just so you can stand there and go "really a track on the top of all this". Thanks Buxton!

You could, you could have someone from Scunthorpe that would want to represent their country. That would make them seem a bit more British...

Best meeting of the season by miles. My only gripe was some woeful ref decisions.

Really enjoyed my visit to Glasgow. Brilliant to see our sport promoted properly. The only complaint would be the tractor racing that went on for ages. No need for that. Just hope that enough clubs take your lead so that you have opposition to ride against!

Brilliant stuff from Glasgow. This is how the sport should be. Looking forward to coming up to see them slaughter my witches in august. It's an awesome track, below par tonight due to the weather. The view from the 4th bend is brilliant. We need more of this.

As an ipswich fan who has travelled over 350 miles for that, I'm a tad disappointed...

It was a decent meeting, good crowd, lots of scottish nutters around to add to the atmosphere. I think I met paulco, not sure he had a whistle and a wicked laugh. Another poorly prepared track despite that horrible deep shale being clearly removed. Season over for us now. Hopefully next season will be different. I just want a competitive team, team suits that are the same so that my club does not look stupid on track and a track properly prepared for racing.

A win that feels like a defeat and in front of a really small crowd. Hundreds down on last week. I know that this fixture was moved forward a week and I know of season ticket holders that were missing as they plan things as to not miss fixtures. They will be around next week when we now don't have a meeting. 2017 season ticket sales down a few. The track is awful and not conducive to good racing. Is somebody different preparing it as we used to have a decent track. It does nothing for a rider like Covatti who is a thrill merchant, he has nothing to work with. Talking with people tonight, it was all doom and gloom. This is pretty much as low as it gets, the club can't continue like this surely.

I agree about the sport being potless and that promoters focus should be on getting the punters in. I guess we just have differing views on people filming it. In my head it's spreading the word by putting a few heats on a mobile phone out there, but I agree that proper streaming of content is different. Not convinced that Sky would care a jot about some nerds sharing a minority sport as they have a few more problems generally with fire sticks and kodi. I'd love to be watching speedway where my view could be spoiled by someone in front of me rather than empty spaces...

I'm glad that this theft of something that is owned by Gospeed has been stopped by the BSPA. I'm expecting the empty terraces to fill back up straight away... Our sport should be awesome, but it's not, it's run by idiots from the dark ages.

Why would we prepare such a poor track for the first meeting of the season when your biggest draw card is Covatti? Thought there was a decent turn out, most left totally bemused. We need to put some shale on the track. We appear to have a reserve that goes backwards. The Green team did a bit better than the Yellow team. But both teams lost.

Prefer Ipswich in Blue and Black as they are our colours. The riders in Yellow look like Coventry riders whist the ones in Green... I don't know maybe Plymouth. They look pretty neat, but as a team they look ridiculous. Surely they should all be the same. The team photo's just look daft.

This is great idea. I'll be there with a tent. Hope it's a success as this sport of ours needs something good to happen.

He has retired, but this elite fast track can achieve anything... The other fast track reserve that lakeside have is also currently retired.

No one is going to tell you two to get a room as you wouldn't be able to choose a room. I went to glasgow this year and it's amazing what has happened there. It felt like the sport had a future!!
