  1. Thanks for the info guys.. Does anyone mind if we used the forum info to pad out the details in the riders database? This goes for any other riders we add? This year we want to add as many speedway riders (past, present and future) to the database. Adam
  2. http://www.sbpost.ie/post/pages/p/story.as...2162-qqqx=1.asp Did she ride speedway? If so can anyone provide any more info about her? Thanks adam
  3. Hi all, i found this info: Small article about BSI and FIM events Not sure if its worth reading but the link is there if you wish to view it.. Adam
  4. Totally agree Matt, and it just goes to show you dont always need the HUGE lenses to get a picture that captures the moment.. Well done to the photographer for that snap! adam
  5. I know what you mean about learning.. If i am where in the same place next year (and it was perfect for the crashes) i will hire a 400mm VR lens (not sure what the equivilant in Canon is?) I could go to 1600iso with very little noise level, i know Mike Patrick sometimes runs at 3200iso to get the action shots (hence the noise on some shots)... I had a 2x convertor which provided me with up 850mm (with the 1.5x factor of digi and the 300mm lens) but this proved too much... Adam
  6. Spot on Steve!! Some superb pics there... What set up did you use? (the nerd in me coming out!) Adam
  7. I cant see why not Shazzybird.. remember though, all the photos have been reduced for viewing on the web. The actuall photos vary in size from 700pixels up 4000+ pixels.. Hope it helps.. Adam
  8. Hi Matt, i used an older version of the Nikon 300mm f2.8 (without VR), i also took along my 70-200 f2.8 (VR). Where were you sat? The last 30 pictures i took on my 200mm. It was pushing both me and the camera to the limit, with it set to 800iso (250 -350th/sec @ f2.8), i did use a monopod to help.. The whole thing looked stupidly big and i did hit my daughter around the head a few times when i swung the lens around But i am glad ya all liked them.. and Splatty - thats my fav as well It was worth going for that snap... Adam P.s I forgot to mention, that the gallery software has two sizes of the actual photo, the size that Splatty has linked - and if you click on it you get this size: Bigger piccy Thats the same with all the photos.. thx..
  9. Heres mine.. My Pics.. They were taken from the top of the 2nd bend in front of most of the crashes........ Can people post URLs to there snaps? So people can see a different angle? Comments most welcome....... Adam
