  1. Unless there is something going one behind the scenes the fans aren’t privy too. I don’t know what more us Berwick supporters could ask from Drew. He has picked up exactly where he left off, rides the track like he is possessed and wins races. I see no attitude other than positive and then some.
  2. 8 tenths off the track record doesn’t scream rubbish to me. A little bumpy in the centre of bend two but very quick either side. Maybe just down to adaptability. Riders from both team found the right rhythm some didn’t. Was a little surprised with Harris, who knows Berwick and how to use the extreme outside line for speed. He didn’t often do that last night. A little deeper shale than last year definitely, but it’s going to bed in, if shale doesn’t get added it will be down to concrete and mud.
  3. I know Cook is a bit Marmite especially at Berwick but Im a glass half full kind of person and seeing him slapping that bandits crest on his chest after 15 was kind of special, his team efforts helping out the other lads also didn’t go unnoticed. If that Cook turns up at Shielfield on a Saturday night I think he will be close to unbeatable. Kemp apart from dropping a chain and settling in behind cook in 15, beat everything by a mile and looks lightning fast and in with a good chance of the lap record this season. A fit PK is a force to be reckoned with by the looks of things I personally think he hurt his back earlier in the meeting when his chain snapped at the gate, I have nerve problems in my back and instantly recognised that walk back to the pits. Wood and Hagon with a maiden win can definitely build from there. Hume will get back into the groove I’m sure and was fighting hard. I do hope Stuart sticks with Borke, we kept going with riders who have struggled to get off the line in the past. I had the chance to chat with Bastian after the p+p and I think it may be a confidence thing and when he comes good and I really think he will, he’s rapid. A lot of positives and potential in this team. Well done Tigers especially Perry, what a performance.
  4. I really think the change will be good for Jye and expect he will bounce back after last season’s difficulties.
  5. Hi all, I’m new to the forum. Thought I’d add my observations from last night’s practice. Cook didn’t do many laps but did look fast when he was out on track. Hume was getting bis bike dialled in and was getting quicker every time he came out. Hagon did a lot of starts and was attacking the bends, especially the third and looked good. Kemp did the most laps and looked very good trying lots of lines and lots of wheelies for the crowd. Borke looks like he is recovering well and was exciting to watch. I spoke with him after and he is very happy to be back on the bike and Back at Berwick. All in all it was a positive evening and I think if everything pans out and the Bandits aren’t plagued by injury it’s a really good team.
