  1. Oh, I need to change my signature? Actually, I won't bother, as soon as I start pointing out your regular lies disguised as facts I guess the ignore function will be in use again! Oh, apology excepted. Don't do it again though, there's a good boy.
  2. Oh dear, Aljack's still having problems with his punctuation I see....oh, and he's missed an 'e' and an 'r' from the first part of that sentence. As for 'so called fans' - better that than a fake fan with an agenda!
  3. Liking the revision! (It's alright, he'll still have me on ignore as I correct his blatant lies too often for his taste! ) As for next year, I think we can take it that staying PL is a given Mick - at the moment any team deciding to venture into the EL would be mad to even consider it - it needs to get itself onto some sort of even keel and get rid of the infighting before it is even worth considering. In any event, for us? I think PL is the right place to be.
  4. Don't think there was anything approaching 45k fans there yesterday TBH - looked way down on attendance to us. That notwithstanding it was enjoyable - although nothing like as good as last year. From a social perspective though - brilliant, can't be beaten. Sensational, even.
  5. Anyone know if Prague is likely to be a venue again next year? Have finally persuaded the other half that a weekend in Prague would be a nice idea....!
  6. was speaking with Tobi on Thursday night about the GP and the possibility of the Wild Card. He's not heard anything yet but one thing he DID say was that he'd be delighted if either he or Martin got it as they are good friends and Martin getting it would be almost as good as getting it himself!
  7. Why would it? Tomicek came fourth in the qualifier didn't he?
  8. Won't make any difference though, will it. if Adams DOES retire, it still won't change this year's qualifying positions. Anyhow, Scotty has to achieve 9th first! I believe I'm correct in saying that Scott has now been quoted several times over the past couple of seasons as claiming that his reason for not doing the qualifiers is that if he doesn't qualify in the top 8, then he doesn't deserve to be in the series at all. Now fair enough, last year he missed some rounds due to inury, and that was taken into consideration when he was handed the freebie. This year that doesn't apply, and so surely he will be man enough to stand by his own words and spend a year concentrating on upping his form sufficiently to get back in on a nomination the year after, whilst also doing the qualifiers to earn back his spot. Or will he?
  9. Tobi's done well beating riders of considerably more experience that him to fight his way to the Qualifier final - so what if this has been contributing factor if he's been chosen? Did the other two not enter, or have they been knocked out? My fingers are crossed!
  10. haven't a clue where we're going to be sat but anyone interested will be able to spot us nice and easily as we will have our huge "Witches on Tour" banner up again as at Cardiff!
  11. We don't "go" anywhere. We do the decent thing and admit that we simply do not have a second British rider who is good enough as things stand at the moment, and we take a few years (maybe even just one year) out to work hard on a programme to bring the young hopefuls on a bit. In a few years time the future will be looking rosy assuming that Kennett, Bridger, Stead and others fulfill their potential. There are others coming through the ranks albeit currently slightly less high profile too - let's hope the powers that be give Tai Woffinden compelling reasons to choose Britain over Aussie when picking which country to commit to. Also Rye have some cracking lads coming through - Boxall is already showing why so may rate him so highly, and there are others too - Luke Bowen and Robert Mear are the two I would suggest have the greatest potential of Len's current batch - although in Bowen's case a lot depends on him staying injury free. It would be a tough decision for the British authorities to stand up and demand that only one Brit is selected for next year, but as things stand, would it perhaps be the right decision? Of course, Scott COULD still finish top 8, couldn't he.....
  12. Glad someone else has commented on this - we said the same.
