  1. After visits to Norwich, Ipswich Witches, King’s Lynn Stars, and Diss Transport Festival, we’re excited to take the ‘Racing in the East’ touring exhibition to The Speedway Show this weekend. The exhibition explores the sport’s history in Cold War East Anglia, from the riders and teams who regularly crossed the Iron Curtain, to the communist-built bikes that graced the region’s tracks, and the Eastern Bloc sponsors which adorned club race jackets. We look forward to meeting visitors on Saturday. More on the exhibition and links to the free articles that underpin ‘Racing in the East’ can be found here.
  2. Thanks to everyone who visited the exhibition at Foxhall Stadium on 29 August and the Adrian Flux Arena on 2 September. We’re grateful to the Witches and the Stars for hosting us. For photos from the events so far, articles, and future dates see: https://ceasuea.org.uk/racing-in-the-east/ Next stop is Diss Heritage Festival of Transport on 22 September.
  3. The 'Racing in the East' touring exhibition will be on display at Foxhall Stadium tonight. If you are going to this meeting it would be great to see you. Please come and find us behind the stand to the left of the turnstiles.
