  1. he can ride for oxford in the nl and a different team in the trophy
  2. i really dont think it matters who it is as the fixtures will no doubt be designed for cairns to be old enough for as many as possible, just like lynn & lambert in 2014
  3. jody scott ryan kinsley micky simpson
  4. thing is poole usually get the best out of riders and have a home track which riders always score heavily on when they sign so despite your concerns i expect both of those riders will be fine once they settle in cairns is the one likely to make the difference once he is old enough he will set poole and glasgow apart in the end
  5. thats a good question did woffy replace an injured rider on 2016? cant recall
  6. im loving all the nibbles you are getting
  7. its quite interesting how different clubs do it in the past lynn have been criticised for dragging it out too long and naming the whole team straight after the agm this year seems to have gone down well horses for courses i guess plus if you want to sell season tickets early then naming the whole team helps
  8. difficult to pinpoint particular positions until all teams are complete but it looks like a top three in no particular order of glasgow poole & Redcar ox scunny & worky scrapping for 4th berwick edinburgh and plymouth contesting the wooden spoon
  9. how many people are required to start a rumour then?
  10. so assuming you attend all 13 meetings its a saving of around 3 quid a meeting if you dont buy a proggy and 6.50 if you do
  11. if thats true then alarm bells are ringing (or should be) regarding our governing body
  12. their tail looks a little too long to me on paper well of course, not suggesting anything is easy hence the word 'should' anyone can get injured but when partaking in pre season predictions they cant really be taken into account just a bit of fun at the end of the day
  13. like the look of this team an awful lot of improvement in some of those averages and very good reserves should be up there with glasgow & poole
  14. cant see him averaging as much as doyle sayfutdinov kurtz bewley holder x 2 woffinden fricke so if he finishes 5th in the averages hell have had an extraordinary season
  15. you are quite right but in fairness to me when i posted that i had no idea he might be coming in on a four
  16. i agree hes washed up but well worth the risk if hes on a 4
  17. he never said it was hes saying that riders who miss leagues shouldnt be reassessed too low 4 would be too low imo even though hes not the rider he was
  18. not sure i agree with that hes a long way past his best imo
  19. wonderful top five reserves look weak but if they can tempt cairns thats a title winning side
  20. it would be far more sensible to judge the rider on his achievements across the rest of the season for worky and bv id have thought
  21. because people want to see the better riders the championship will begin without pickering nicholls schlein brennan and b cook and some of the named sides look pretty ropey compared to last season many folk will pay more to see their team but you cant blame those who refuse to absorb the price hike
