1 ippo 2 bv 3 sheff 4 lynn 5 leic 6 brum 7 ox -
clubs dont 'let' riders go they are self employed and can accept whatever offer they choose
-
absolutely there was obviously a chance bewley might sign however small and however unlikely there must have been some encouragement from his side perhaps he got a better deal out of it once he committed to bv no doubt it happens every winter with many riders and clubs
-
good signing
-
i suspect they tried every realistic option what is encouraging is that they are trying something different ie not worral sedge or kerr
-
agree with @AceBelle bv went with tate instead, realistically they were never signing both doesnt mean voulas hasnt potential but tate has more imo
-
you make a fair point but folk shouldnt be expected to shell out 20+ quid for any old garbage a bit chicken and egg i guess
-
i go pretty much every week but personally i wouldn't consider myself more of a supporter/fan than those who dont its hard work when your team is gash (as lynn have been quite a lot recently)
-
but also if theres a chance you are going to struggle or be cannon fodder why would you commit to going every week doesnt make you any less of a fan if you decide against going to every meeting
-
a vast improvement on last year on paper at least ultimately it will boil down to how much effort and desire is shown as the talent is there to challenge for a play off spot
-
wont be the first time grudziadz have stopped riders appearing over here
-
unfortunately he gets injured too often and when he comes back hes not the rider he was pre injury each time its a shame because at his best he was a very capable rider but those days are long gone imo
-
im guessing its the mention of mr ribbons

Cardiff GP 2025 Cancelled
SaddlebowRoad replied to Phil's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
you are right the list is endless and the sport is badly run but i think the poor cardiff crowds is a result of external factors too cost of living in terms of affording to travel stay and eat/drink in the city covid the 2022 ploughed field and probably the novelty of the event wearing off a bit -
also tais comments on his tour he says riding the third and fourth bends at owlerton is the biggest adrenalin rush as hes never quite sure if hes getting round in one piece when riding wide because of the grip and visibility i very much suspect all the dirt being left so wide is a home advantage tactic but there is a fine line when safety is potentially compromised

Arise, Sir Chris Harris

but who also won multiple wc's and helped revolutionise team gb and turn it into a winning side -
i really hope your tongue is in your cheek
-
that kind of does suggest that vp is more senior than grahn but as with many speedway rules its not crystal clear the blobby bleating is funny tho
-
quite
-
it shouldnt have been announced with a fanfare if it wasnt watertight the correct outcome has been reached as they shouldnt be in it but it makes the sport look amateur hour yet again
-
exactly and the fact the fact that folk cant see the issue with a contrived draw is pretty worrying
-
i was part of the discussion you asked a question which you knew the answer to and wasnt even relevant trying to be a clever dick as usual
