  1. I think rusky and SCB have got it spot on. Jack is a well established and respected commenter. He is great on Superbike commentary. He tends to be a talker rather than just commentating the actual race on who is in the lead. Any motorbike fan tuning in will recognise it jack! and watch a bit more. Just a shame the speedway racing is not up to much.
  2. Eurosport do far more speedway than Sky. Eurosport IS the home of motorsport and bike fans. Speedway is repeated loads more on Eurosport and is talked about more when the other motorbike sports are on TV. We also get to see the whole meeting rather than being cut short
  3. Thought it was really funny and well done tai for adding a bit of humour into the sport. Only mistake he made was taken dirt from gate 4 by the fence. Helped build the tension for the final race of the night. And tai did not delay the start he was waiting at the gate
  4. Our BSF sponsors, Travelplus Tours have added an exciting Polish Speedway experience for the European Final and Polish League Play offs..... www.speedwaytours.co.uk http://speedwaytours.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/european-championship-final.pdf www.speedwaytours.co.uk
  5. Yep, similar thing happened at Sheffield apart from it rained!
  6. Yes dropped them to concentrate on the 150cc bikes. Darcy and holder now need to learn how to put a bike together
  7. All they can do is try there best. Nothing wrong with getting it wrong but it is making sure they listen to the fans after doing it wrong and not making the same mistakes again! Why not try dropping the race card and give programmes ago. Not for me but all they can do is try. Personally for two people to watch 15 heats of speedway at £32 it just too expensive / value for money so don't go as often as we used to. But that just me.
  8. Piccolo - With respect. libellous posts levelled against Andy Povey and AP Media were removed! Why don't you ask Andy how everything was dealt ? Move on.
  9. Joe McLaughlan the ex-commercial manager of Birmingham speedway has recently had some extensive surgery and is under a great deal of stress recovering from the operation. I kindly ask that no reference to him is made on the forum in the future. Thank you. PS. If you notice someone has accidentally made reference to him in the future please report it.
  10. The consortium need to buy the club first! Italian Massimo Cellino might just snap it up instead!
  11. I know steady has been training in the boxing gym but is the plan for a punch up with the other team if we are down on points ?
  12. To actually see some decent racing at Sheffield and a pie in the sky dream to see the admission prices come down.
  13. I have moved the rider discussion posts to the Sheffield 2014 topic.
  14. FINALLY: Halsey Eastbourne, Smart Poole and Sarjeant Coventry.
  15. Lambert Birmingham, Jacobs Wolves, Morley Lakeside, Reade Belle Vue. #britishspeedway
  16. Josh Bates joins Steve Worrall at Swindon - Max Clegg joins Tom Perry at Leicester.
  17. HERE WE GO!! Kerr and Rose K Lynn, Newman Poole, Ellis Lakeside, Morris Wolves. MORE: Garrity Coventry, Nielsen Belle Vue, Blackbird Eastbourne, Perry Leicester Steve Worrall selected robins and Paul Starke Birmingham
  18. potentially liable comments will be removed. If you look at the other companies they have plenty of cash.
