  1. Yes it does but as for the original post its not relevant to crowds at the NSS as it is in close proximity. Salford and Trafford are part of Greater Manchester but different boroughs.
  2. Ipswich v Leicester final, Ipswich to win over two legs, if i was a Lions fan i would prefer to go with R/R for Becker as coming back from a long injury absence would be a gamble considering how well the facility has worked for them, if they go with a guest could be more of a gamble.
  3. Manchester United are based in Salford both only 10 mins from the city centre so dont think thats any issue
  4. Last years system is irrelevant the new system was put into place so this season its all about the current rule, which is there for all.
  5. Im with you i go to football etc but speedway has always been my favourite sport. Belle Vue lost a lot of fans with the closure of Hyde Road, a lot of fans didnt take to the dog track and just drifted away. The amount of people i speak to who say i used to go the speedway at Hyde Road and who didnt even know about the NSS is unreal. Also we didnt just lose a speedway stadium when the Belle Vue complex closed there was the fun fair, zoo, kings hall where all the top bands played, the ballroom, beer keller, the suites etc, i think thats where the sport lost a lot of fans.
  6. At least i can book holidays for the play off final dates 🀣
  7. Just think there is far more alternatives tbh, United, City plus lower and non league clubs, cricket, rugby league/union, ice hockey, loads of top gigs, etc etc, theatre shows among all that speedway is a well kept secret.
  8. Im looking forward to my first trip to Northside, prefer the earlier start time compared to Derwent Park, just hope the weather keeps behaving. πŸ˜‰
  9. This will be a heavy defeat, nothing to do with the track more to do with our engine room and reserves not being able to support the top two away from home. Changes should have been made, apart from Bewley and Kurtz getting out the gate i can see the home riders reeling in the rest and Dan and Brady have been passed at Foxhall when making the gate as well. Bottom line is we arent as a good a team as Ipswich.
  10. I think Sheffield will be better at our place than we will be at theirs.
  11. As expected well beaten, no chance of getting past the semis, be interesting to see the league structure for next season.
  12. You can add Mulford too, Tatum stated Blodorn has improved every season at the beginning, hes actually gone the other way.
  13. Just come on 1/2 hour later than advertised standing by for a thumping πŸ˜‰
  14. Couldnt get over there tonight is this showing on TNT1 at my mates showing in programme guide but showing football training?
  15. If i were a Lions fan i think i would be on the side of continuing with r/r as it has worked so well.
  16. Im sure i will like it speaking to our fans that have been, all give great feedback.
  17. Im hoping to make this my first visit to this track but its depending on the Oxford side if not this one will definately do the next against Edinburgh and looking at it i think that might be the better meeting anyway, no doubt the Monarchs will be well suported so a good atmosphere.
  18. Exactly my point about non existent team riding nowadays a lost skill.
  19. Team riding always shows great racing when theres no passing, a different type of skill sadly rare these days in comparison to what it used to be.
  20. Some Ipswich fans were definite in predicting they would have won the title last season without the injuries, as i always said nothing in sport is nailed on, bit like calling this seasons title the vulture cup as Woffy would have given Sheffield the scoring power at home to beat any other side over 2 legs πŸ˜‰
  21. Great idea a couple of guests😁 in from Liverpool and Arsenal
