Dosent look as if Hans is anywhere near fit, could have a damaging effect for the Panthers, would like to see him go well in his next rides. -

Peterborough v Belle Vue 5/9/2019

I've seen many a good meeting at Monmore Steve I don't go with this big tracks are better than smaller tracks thing, each track has its own characteristics which means riders have to adapt different skills, that's why it was always said foreign riders need to ride in the UK in order to develop. As Ivan Mauger once said every track is there to be ridden. Wolves are a very well run club and I think can go all the way in the play offs, that was my original point nothing to do with tracks at all, that wasn't brought up by me. Good luck in the play offs, I wouldn't mind seeing you go all the way. -

When i made my original comment about teams preferring to come to the NSS rather than Wolves that was based on my belief Wolves are more formidable round their own patch than we are, no mention about the tracks at all, I think Biowulf became defensive hence his comments. No track ever has produced exceptional racing every meeting that's just impossible, but given the option I would take aHyde Road or NSS over Kirky Lane any day, Aces 51 sums it up perfectly -

Yes we know about the money so the racing on those big fast polish tracks must be so poor as the riders just have to take their brains out and turn the throttle im surprised the numbers on the terraces actually bother. I remember going from Hyde road to Kirky lane, now we are at the NSS the crappy racing was at Kirky lane, when we were at the dog track we tried to convince ourselves the racing was better due to the tighter track and riders having to have more technical ability, we were kidding ourselves, the best racing by far was at Hyde road and now the NSS, absolutely no comparison, after all the clue is in the name, speedway. -

So that's the reason all the best riders in the world shun the UK and choose to ride the big fast tracks in Poland, always wondered, not many trick tracks in the GP, s either -

Agreed but I think visiting riders would have less concerns about coming to the NSS as they would going to Wolves. -

Totally agree Steve, we were just hanging in there on borrowed time, ive always said if Wolves qualify for the play offs they could go the whole way, we know their dominance at home but they have put in some good away performances of late, don't think any team will relish taking them on. -

Hopefully Coventry can return in a revamped Brandon as housing now seems improbable, miss my trips down there. -

Maybe the Witches could move their home meetings to Monmore then he would be at home in the league and British final -
Just read in the morning paper Alun Rossiter is to announce he is standing down from Team GB later on today despite signing a new two year deal.

Wolves should be right up for this now and I think they have a very good chance, their form at the NSS has to turn round sometime. -

The Vale cottage is supposed to be ok but only does food 12.00am to 15.00pm Mondays I think, its tucked away but about a 10-15 minute walk from the track, best to check their website. -
A mate of mine who used to go home and away in the seventies never went to the dog track, a couple of seasons ago he came with me to the NSS for the play off final against Wolves, loved it and now comes to the Colts as well as the Aces, a friend of his who had never been to speedway is now coming along too, hopefully this is a trend that will continue not just at Belle Vue but throughout speedway.

BELLE VUE COLTS V KENT THURSDAY 01/ 08

Great effort from both teams, and some good racing, congratulations to Kent, deserved winners, good performance from Kemp but Gilkes really impressed me. -

What always makes me laugh are some of those so eager to criticise the track cant wait to jump in after a few races, hence the racing improves and silence. Some seem to think its some sort of magical place where fantasy speedway is produced every race, mind you a bad meeting here can normally kick a good one elsewhere into a cocked hat. From what I hear Swindon is shaping up well and the racing is improving there, which is good news.

Ipswich vs Belle Vue 1/8/19

Can see this as another pointless venture for us. -
Yes agree about the problem with the track being so good others love to visit, Swindon could end up with a similar problem as their track appears to be bedding down nicely. We really need to be better away as the margins we are losing by would not give us much chance of going through over two legs against any side at the moment. Keeping the away margins much closer is a must.
