  1. Think thats unfair tbh most of the posts on here about our track have come from fans of other clubs
  2. You have to give credit where its due, going down by 4 on the night and 22 on aggregate did for us but you have to give Ipswich credit.
  3. Doyle really showed his experience in that last heat, disappointing for us but you have to hold your hands up he rode a great race, no surpise really hes a class act.
  4. Totally correct, in the seventies when we had 18 teams in the league it was always said to be world champion you had to ride in the UK due to the variations of track. We had Hyde road, Monmore, Somerton park, for example, the latter was often like a ploughed field but riders could handle it, Wimbledon another small track, no one was critical of any track in those days. As for your own team ive been down to Poole many times and never really seen a bad meeting to be fair.
  5. If your going to go out as they say in boxing go out on your shield, still a fan of Emil and Doyley though
  6. Not seen any gloating from BV fans on here tonight, a lot of the track comments do actually come from fans of other teams. Whats more concerning considering the state of the sport is at the rate its going will we have enough teams to have any sort of meaningful league next season? No point having a new stadium if theres no opposition. Kirky lane wasnt good but did its job it was better than no speedway, i never really understood the critisism of Monmore from fans around the country. Its now going to be missed isnt it? Hope they can quickly get a new home along with Peterborough.
  7. Congratulations to the Witches, 18 was a big ask and then falling 22 behind made it an impossible task that we nearly pulled off. Pity yet another injury hit us at play off time but the performance at Ipswich and the first four heats tonight did for us. Overall Ipswich did the job and i hope they go onto win it, Doyley and Emil really are two top quality riders enjoy watching them both. Good racing and a good advert for the sport. Good Luck Witches
  8. Its game over after heat 3 mate, Ipswich quicker and more determined, they are more up for it
  9. Riding when not fit just hinders the team but Norick has been hit and miss this season.
  10. Whats ironic? No Belle Vue fans complaining why should we come out in support not our club.
  11. Kurtz has been our best rider for a couple of seasons now, agree about Musielak great rider, reliable and can ride all tracks big or small, will be a big miss for Sheffield.
  12. Ive felt for a while he regrets riding the UK this season, best bikes no doubt in Poland, just feels weve been sold short.
  13. I dont think that will happen, unless the miracle happens and we pull it back i hope you go on to win it. With the last gasp qualification as they say in football your name could be on the trophy.
  14. Cant see us pulling it back with your top two, fair play Ipswich were right up for it tonight.
  15. Wheres the sour grapes, ive said it was a bottle job from us Ipswich were head and shoulders above, saying Bewley was poor isnt sour grapes its fact, his average in this league should be far better. When your beaten like that you just hold your hands up
  16. Bewley has been a big disappointment, i just feel he regrets coming back to the UK, should be top 3 in averages in this league,
  17. I expected far more from him in this league should certainy be in top 3 or 4 in the averages in this company, also think Cook would have shown up better than Norick, Ipswich far better and more up fir it, pathetic BV performance, Witches head and shoulders above us.
  18. I think Brennan and Blodorn could be key for us keeping it close, both have been a bit more hit and miss this season as can happen with young riders. I would expect Dan to be a lot better than his 4 points on our last visit, Doyle a big miss be interesting to see if the play off version of Harris turns up, will have to have some meeting to match Jason. I think Ipswich take the win, by how many could depend on Tom and Norick, King seems to be riding well at the moment, Riss and Rew could be key for Ipswich.
