I know that but the success rate wont change with either, at least Lemon isnt bleeding the club dry like the Glaziers. -

Been a nice day today blue sky and sunny, pity about the injury/illness problems hope it dosent detract too much from the racing. -

Cant see beyond an away win unless Musielak and Ellis replicate their PC form which i very much doubt. -
Considering how long it was taking i prepared to be underwhelmed, i wasnt disappointed.
-
I will support the Aces and Colts but no other Premiership promoter will be getting a penny from me, the Championship will suffice for my away days, i would have dropped down a long time ago tbh, not done Poole any harm has it?
-
Has there ever been a more iconic photo taken? I started going in 1968 so missed out on seeing the original PC, a total legend.

Not forgetting the programme insert that they put into old programmes for meetings that have been rained off, really encourages people does that.
-
I spend more in the track shop in one purchase than i would spend all season on a programme.
-
Just go on the programme generator and print your own racecard, thats what i do all the other information a programme contains can be found online or in the star.

Very sad RIP and condolences to Tom and the family.
-
And we would still screw up the play offs

I wouldnt go with Tungate, hes had some great meetings around the NSS but also some howlers and hes not reliable away from home.
-
Very good looking side, at this stage Sheffield have set the standard, solid throughout.
-
Theres no reason to assume he wouldnt have, perhaps he wouldnt but who knows for sure, if he didnt he wouldnt have been turning his back on his country though when he was in a position to promote it.
-
Very true but it never stopped Doyle showing his loyalty to the UK, riding here as world champion.
-
Agree with what you say but the world cup win certainly went under the radar, nothing in the majority of news/media outlets. I always thought Woffinden could have used his position as world champion more to have promoted the sport over here, hes one rider who has the personality and would have been seen as cool by the younger generations, Doyle has shown far more loyalty to to UK speedway than our own riders and was only really forced out by the unfortunate situation at Swindon.

Really good meeting full of great racing, a good way to go into the winter, lets hope the right decisions are made for the benefit of the sport, we get a decent sized league and discovery do a good job in spreading the word. -
Belle Vue v Peterborough Panthers - Grand Final

And that is a sad fact mate, meetings were far better when teams rode as teams instead of seven individuals, Harris and Nicholls showed a bit last night though. -

Probably as most remember the Bjerre situation that cost us against Coventry. -

I said previously i thought our inability to dominate teams at home would cost us, Peterborough have had some bad luck but are still capable of covering at home, they are a solid side and theres no substitute for experience, we are more convincing away just hope its another great night of racing. -

I wonder if that came into the thinking when leaving him out of the SON which in effect is a pairs tournament? -

I feel our inability to dominate on our own track could well be our undoing this time. -
Belle Vue -V- Sheffield POSF 2nd leg
bellevueace replied to Phil The Ace's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Yep we cant take anything for granted, especially as we have struggled to impose ourselves on opponents at home except for a couple of occasions, we certainly seem more convincing away. I would expect Holder to score well, Ellis will certainly be better than he was at Owlerton, if the real Batchelor shows up Sheffield could have a good go at this. Ten points seems a good lead but Sheffield bang in a couple of early heat wins 5-1 and a 4-2 and its game on. Should be a good meeting as im sure Tigers will be giving it a good go, and they turned around ten points at Peterborough.
