  1. Good to see Norick starting to find his way round the so called technical tracks.
  2. Still releasing great music though mate, the last album is up there with the best.
  3. Ive got a ticket for Uriah Heep next Monday, could go now but will still take the hit on that one for the second leg.
  4. Weve given Lemon pelters in the past over some of his decisions, whats witches fans opinions about Hawkins? Do you think thats it for him?
  5. Makes up for all the injuries weve had during play offs, think weve managed 4 injury free teams in 12 matches or something like that.
  6. The meeting can still be turned round as we have capitulated before in the final five heats, hopefully we see it out, result apart very poor fare.
  7. Neither do i the way things are the best chance for the others would in the old one off final.
  8. Imagine how many Mauger would have won under this formula with his outstanding consitency? And he had to do all the qualifiers too.
  9. Well done Dan great to see him win but the meeting overall was a terrible advert for the sport, no doubt the powers that be were praying for Dan to win, makes it easier to deflect away from all the negatives. The novelty of Cardiff wore off for me some seasons ago, thought it was played out then this proves it.
  10. Hes sat there probably thinking and people call snooker boring.
  11. What a total embarrassment for the sport, this really is the pits.
  12. To warn people like me not to bother turning over, that i contemplated it shows how woeful this meeting has been.
  13. As a utd fan im actually tempted to turn over, says a lot about this so far
  14. I certainly dont regret giving this one a miss, lets hope the racing improves, correction we get some instead of these processions.
  15. Even with the big scores the racing has been good in all the meetings. When it comes to play off time its a different ball game, all or nothing and the pressure is really on, in the past injuries have conspired against us but can we get the monkey off our back this season if we get to the final? Then league performances count for nothing so i for one wont be counting any chickens. Without doubt Ipswich and Sheffield will be far better come play off time, all to play for.
  16. Exactly there was no point in keeping people hanging around, it was obvious there would be no more racing so apart from hoping people would spend more money (which they didnt around me) it was pointless,
  17. Actually Manchester is number ten in the list of wettest places in the UK, still not on a par with the sunny south though.
  18. After missing a really good meeting last week that would have been good viewing on tv Eurosport again serve up a duck egg. Can only see a big home win with the majority of the fans staying at home to watch it on tv if not watching the womens euro game. They do seem consistent in picking the wrong fixture for tele. Im going for two reasons, a couple of hours out in the sun and not having to listen to Sam waffling on. Lets hope Lynn can at least make it a race meeting.
  19. I always used to do our meetings down there, have friends in Portsmouth so fairly easy to still pop along the coast for me when im down there.
  20. Is there a notable difference in figures during the holiday months Lisa? I would assume thats a bonus for the club being able to draw on the influx of visitors.
  21. I dont understand the ongoing obsession speedway fans have in the UK regarding crowds, fact is no club in the country gets good crowds, i can remember when every track i visited got four or five figure crowds, BV for example would take 6 coaches down to Swindon as well as people making their own way. Away fans came in large numbers to Hyde Road as it was a family day out with the fun fair and zoo, the BLRC could have 20,000 fans in, just to think speedway used to get football type crowds on a regular basis many years ago, those days are long finished. Sad to see the sport as it is today Lisa. Maybe the powers that be need to study where Poland was then and how they got to where they are now? Next up tv meeting with the majority staying to watch on tv.
