Speedway On Itv The Motorbike Show
Shale Shaker replied to michaelcroucher's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
So what's everyone's opinion of the Motorbike Show then, or am I in the wrong place? Thought I'd gone into the "Testing" forum by mistake? -
World Cup Final
Shale Shaker replied to mothorsen's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
There's the rub unfortunately. The Joker produced a tight finish, so as far as the TV companies and organisers are concerned, it worked, job done. And so I'm sure it will be staying -

Swc Perfect Rules - Any Ideas?

Indeed. If it were a proper tournament, I very much doubt we would be taking part. -

Proper 7 man teams and a proper tournament with proper team riding! -
Swc, Event Two, King's Lynn 15/7

Leaving apart the errors made in selection. Do you really think that Middlo has handled and "Managed" the team well? -

Exactly, such small pool to choose from, and he still managed to choose the wrong ones. -

Who Should Be In Gb World Cup Team?
Shale Shaker replied to bri1966's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I agree you should be dropped if you perform poorly - provided you have been given a fair chance to perform. It could be argued that Cook did contribute to the team going through to the play-off, and so deserved to keep his place and further prove himself. -
Who Should Be In Gb World Cup Team?

I find it hard to lay the blame on the riders in this case, and can undestand their reaction. The GB team manager made a total hash of his team selection in the first place and that has now had an obvious impact on the riders he has dropped. I think Middlo has shown a complete lack of respect for team GB, and lack of support for the riders HE selected. -

I doubt Middlo would have picked Nicholls anyway, after all we are told "he had his reasons" for picking Kennett -
If the advertising space is sold efficiently, there should be no need to charge anything for a program.

Why Seed Hosts Direct To Final?
Shale Shaker replied to TheReturn's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I second that as well. I seem to remember you could get a ticket deal which got you into both qualifiers, semi and the final at a pretty good discount as well. That to me seems a better way to ensure good crowds at all 4 events. -

Sky no longer show the SGP & SWC - get over it -
Or maybe they could have a simple scoreboard, visible at the track so there'd be no need for a program??

Why No Speedway Track...?

Talking of sarcasm, if the new Belle Vue stadium doesn't interest you, then why make the sarcastic comment above? -
Sky's Additions To It's Speedway Coverage.
Shale Shaker replied to Stephen7's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
You have to remember that Sky opted out of covering the GP's so they are now very limited as to which "Superstars" (or should that be "Supertarts") they can harp on about.
