That’s something else I get frustrated about with Eurosport. They start 19:30 on TV with hardly any build up. Football is a nice build up and gets you in the mood by painting a picture of the previous matches. I’m sure BSN start at 19:00 or 19:15 and do a much better job of the build up! Again correct me anyone if I’m wrong

I’m only saying I’ve lived in Gorzów and seen rain offs happen on Mondays not just Thursdays so it’s not a priority date. I’m sure things will only happen on the odd occurrence. I get this place is like a little tight community and everyone’s been on here since day dot so I don’t expect any backing if I comment about much. And I don’t mind just making my way through life! I just add from my time living in Poland with a girlfriend who worked in stal Gorzów and has a degree in sport contracts for speedway riders and tennis players. So I know a bit about things, never claim to be right always though! And I don’t mind butting out of the forum completely if I’m offending people I’ll just read the comments

Morris has nothing to do with Ekstraliga so he wouldn’t be influencing Wroclaw. The same people moaning about him ruining GB speedway and you think he would have the power to make this decision? FIM stated this year Thursday is agreed GB priority date. Wroclaw are riding Friday as it’s FIM stated on their calendar. It’s not difficult.

Yes they can and hence why Wroclaw aren’t riding Thursday now and never were. And Friday was always down on the calendar for Ekstraliga play offs, so I guess I was right. I’ll leave it as that.

Where is this stated though? In the speedway 2024 calendar Poland doesn't have Thursdays and Britain is still agreed priority dates. Play off agreed priority dates 2024 are only Friday / or Sunday for Poland. FIM has Saturdays. These are the only days in all of the leagues that are agreed priority dates. The others are simply priority dates and not ‘agreed’. In theory, Britain can pull rank over Poland riders in the plays off on a Thursday (but only Thursdays). Poland wouldn’t officially be able to do anything about it. Now if Britain bow down to Poland that’s another story altogether.

The amount of times I’ve looked at the forecast whilst in England and then when I land in Poland it’s blazing hot is crazy, I wouldn’t believe the weather forecast looking from England. Although today is the first day is has dropped below 28 in about a month! Where did you see it is planned to run Thursday? Thursday is an agreed priority day for Britain so they don’t run on Thursdays in Poland for Ekstraliga. All season if a Sunday is cancelled it’s pushed to Monday or Tuesday. So if any, the Monday fixture will be hit harder here. Also they have agreed play off date for Friday 20th so doubt they would ride the Thursday before as unlike other leagues they have training days with the whole team.

Yeah I know nothing in speedway is 100%! Would have been nice to see Tai and Doyle fit all year. See what all the teams are made of

Sorry Rew* Thomson on an 8 is my worry. I could see Lawson and Fricke being solid all night. We need to get the better of Becker and the reserves. i think whatever happens, everyone can be glad it is coming down to a close meeting. I would just enjoy to get to the final to see Emil this season again. He deserves it after how hard he pushed without Doyle.

It basically sits with Ellis and Kew imo. Honestly even as a witches fan it’s a flip of a coin and who wants it more on the night.

Be thankful we have the other guests! Everyone knows with our actual 1-7 team we would have walked the league even with Doyle missing nobody could catch us the only people missing out in this Emil situation is witches fans, and hardly any of them are complaining because they already gave up this season.

It’s a shame Doyle doesn’t just randomly turn up and jump on a bike and show everyone that Ipswich would have walked over all other teams this season with our full 1-7!

How many comments will be made IF we get to the final and Emil rides and wins the league for us haha imagine the outrage! I’d love it to happen more than ever now

Douglas has a cut on his arm and Emil a hole in his arse from one of the worst British crashes this season, lives in another country but everyone chooses to moan about Emil missing the meetings. When it suits I guess!

He needed an operation for a health and wellbeing. I don’t suspect he needs to come to ride a bike for people’s entertainment just because people get upset. If you want to get literal with every comment made on this forum good luck you know what I meant.

We all know Emil was unfit to travel. Do people know how to get from Poland to England? You have to travel.
