Falubaz are currently 4 million złoty in debt and are in talks with the city to bail them out with 2 million as they look to secure Boll sponsorship and potentially some rights for the club to help them remove the money shortfall from their accounts. A potential renegotiation of Leon Madsen’s contract is also not off the table.

Tom Brennan has his 6 points revoked from the Łódź match and the new updated score is 40-44. Due to his contract stipulating he can ride in 3 leagues (including Poland) and he rode in Denmark the night before therefore breaking his contractual agreement.

I do agree with some of what you are saying especially that you have the SGPs as well so it isn’t that easy to keep spending the money. The other issue I have with it being staged at BV is that it’s a trade off for ; having the best racing track in the country vs having it so far away from any southern clubs so fans can’t make it. I don’t know how other clubs feel but being in Ipswich I’m travelling all that way when I have to work that weekend. It should be at a centralised position within the country, and yes I know we have Scottish clubs too but I would say Leicester or midlands area would be ideal.

Can anyone who actually supports or is from near Belle Vue genuinely say how come the stadium is always empty a lot of the time? I get league meetings for obvious reasons but I hope people locals turn out and get a full stadium for the final. I hate watching an event on TV and the stadium is half empty, surely people will turn out for this one!? Just been on the website and the main stand again has loads of seats left, this there a real reason why people don’t attend? This isn’t to get at Belle Vue or their fans as I actually love watching BV but I always feel like Ipswich would have a better crowd for the BS final than BV. And yes, I’ll wait for the comment about how poor our track is and the racing would be shocking but like I said it’s a genuine question and no digs at anyone.

With the likelihood of J.Holder not being available for the play down season and the forbidden use of ZZ (RR) in the play off/down period, Stal have been given two options, to sign either bomber, king or Kildemand, or, draft Igor into the main body and shift riding positions around. By the end of this Friday night we may already know who will be facing who in the play down. If GKM win and Falubaz beat Stal then one play down match will be confirmed of Stal vs Falubaz.

BVTV have by the best screen display as in regards to the info they show on the screen but they have too many camera angles and changes so many times in one lap you can’t focus on the actual racing which is a shame, if they limited it to the large ‘broadcast’ view of the whole track with just a few times zooming into when two riders are racing close then they would be smashing their live stream.

This year was amazing racing and 100% better than Riga over the years and especially this year. Riga has consistently been dire. And not to be harsh, but Czech Republic is much nicer than Latvia. Plus the flights to Riga are a joke when you look at the country you are visiting.

Lawson must go. 1. Turns up late, dirty bikes and ill prepared. 2. Never does the parade 3. Creates a bad atmosphere in the pits 4. Drives to Leicester, calls in sick half way, when asked by management to attend the track for a doctor’s note and to make IRR available, he refuses and drives home. The next day he rides in Denmark. 5. Calls in at 17:50 to tell the management he isn’t turning up, the riders and management at this point have had enough of him. This guy also got sacked by his Polish club this season. Goodbye and Good riddance.

He is full of crap. I don’t believe half of what he says. If his wife and child is the reason he didn’t come let me know why he decided to wait until 17:50 to let the club know. And also, just to put it out there so everyone is fully aware, the riders and management of Ipswich were visually angry after taking his phone call to say he wasn’t turning up. He needs to be sacked, instantly.

Pawlicki is still of interest to Stal, it was mentioned today that they favour the movement of removing Pollestad to Torun, Stal will then have the loaned out asset of Nagel back to their team with ideally Pawlicki strengthening the team with Holder and Anders.

Two points. Firstly - if they got injury for doubling up in their championship contracted club or other league or even SGP, so be it, because that is also their signed contractual obligations. What they do as guests is basically moonlighting and risking their actual clubs chances of a good season. Secondly - The comparison with football, although not directly the same, is relevant. That sport houses your players and your loyal fan base. These riders are for all intents and purposes your riders, they cannot ride against their second team be it in the championship or another league abroad as no European cups exist in speedway, therefore cannot directly impact ruining their actual clubs chances of a league position… when you introduce guest riders, that changes everything.
