  1. Mitch would have been a great signing to show intent for the future of speedway and not the past! IMO we have far too many old riders now which is only worsening the sport by not giving chances to the younger generation, you want to bring young people to Foxhall but don’t give them anyone who they could relate to? As much as I hate Falubaz, Mitch is performing well, even when Madsen does push him off!
  2. Neither sold out. However a lot more tickets available in the temp stand for Friday night, one ticket is north of £80 which is just a joke. The most expensive GP in the series by a way! I’ll be glad after next years double header is over and they can finally move the second BSGP somewhere else.
  3. Brennan has been dropped from the match day team but still in the squad as they have too many “players”, similar thing happened at Rybnik last year. Brennan is getting £2,000 a match to be sidelined though!
  4. Foxhall to me feels completely flat. I’ll go to the home matches and keep an eye on the away meetings but it doesn’t exactly excite me anymore to see what we can do. The heart of it has been ripped out and feels like a make shift team. People will naturally speak on Doyle and Emil but I actually am also disappointed that Dan left, I enjoyed watching him progress. Lawson & PHB don’t really excite me enough to get into their races, Scotty is just filling in for a season it feels like just for a farewell (although he has done brilliant for us in the past so I can’t knock him). Brennan has a bright future but will get frustrated when he can’t beat the other out and out number ones of other teams so I hope it doesn’t deflate him, especially with what is going on with him at Bydgoszcz. King and Edwards always try hard and were previous witches so no problem with that. And I like watching Tobi to be fear. Just doesn’t seem like “my” Witches.
  5. A cylinder blew out, destroying the engine from the inside. The engine was completely destroyed, melting the remaining part and melting some of the motorcycle's trim. This engine had just been serviced and had previously only been used for training.
  6. If holder brings his form from Gorzow then him and Kurtz will have a good battle!
  7. Rzeszów fans will be commenting im sure!
  8. Emil and Łaguta would have been good assets to participate in this to bring in crowd numbers and PPV too… just saying!
  9. 😎you know that!!! Belle Vue expecting a massive upturn in crowd attendance next season I heard due to Pep leaving City and people trying to find something else to be interested in 😆😂 but it could be worse! You could support Tottenham and your biggest day out is relegation avoidance 😎
  10. Yet another thing to do in Manchester! The list just goes on and on! 😁
  11. Pa pa Lublin. Stal did what needed to be done today and turned up. Lindgren away, but the boys still needed to perform and they did. Bubba with ride of the night to hold off Zmarzlik for a vital 5-1. Stal getting the fans back on side now the old president has gone and the new regime has taken place and people can believe in these young stars. First Falubaz and now Lublin. Stal are comfortable at home.
  12. One from Czech SGP. I hope anyone who watches, enjoys, happy Sunday!
  13. The problem is and always will be the consistency and that is why Zmarzlik is the best. Even when he doesn’t win he gets damage limitation. You have Dudek and Lambert performing for Torun but didn’t show up yesterday. And same for a lot of the others, even bewley who I like can disappear of any meeting. Zmarzlik is always there or there about. Last night showed me that Kurtz is really ready to bring this battle. He started OK but then had a mechanical issue but still when required in the last two races (one to get into the LCQ and the other to win it) he found what he needed and made it happen. So he is showing to me he can still make a poor start to a meeting turn around into damage limitation just like Zmarzlik.
  14. Last night was possibly one of the most hostile sections of crowds towards a SGP winner. Madsen really has frustrated and angered a lot of people in Poland.
  15. Funny reading the comments after the meeting. The track was watered every single time after 4 heats. And the tractors came out every single time too. There wasn’t one break where nothing was done. Phil prepped the track the same as the qualifying and remember seeing how much grip was on the outside and thinking if this is the same tonight we are on for a good meeting.
  16. Cracking racing tonight, bends 3 and 4 were the fence and 1 and 2 were inside. Anders with pass of the night closely followed by Holder. Such a great spectacle and glad I was there. Madsen promising the Falubaz president he would be on the podium now he changed tuner and he was.
  17. Dudek will win tonight I think. He looked relaxed on the bike in qualifying and was testing every single line in and out.
  18. Track looked good and beautiful weather here so expecting a brilliant evening with atmosphere and racing (maybe not the racing)!
  19. Grand Prix can be watched on TNT sports tonight. Although I’m here in Prague 😎
  20. Something needs to change in the team GB management setup. You can’t allow our hottest prospect to stay in the pits until heat 27. You’ve asked him to miss his GCSE exams today to be a team member and haven’t utilised him to his full potential. The same can be said for Cairns when he should have been given a ride in GB last heat when we were already qualified in Landshut.
  21. Thought it might be as he is in Prague for Friday night and obviously he is Czech so makes sense. Glad they made the correct decision as he is going well in Poland to and will be more involved than Kai.
  22. Unfortunately so! Rather many other riders have been chosen but such is life, I’m at Prague for this one and gutted Bewley is missing! Rather see Bubba than Kai
  23. As R&R stated above. Fractured his thigh is what i’ve heard. The crash looks nasty too, the bike straightened up and upon impact at full throttle the front lifted higher than the air fence.
