Another good entertaining meeting. So far this year, the quality of racing has been very good and puts to shame the racing that Sky serves up from the Elite League. Why would anyone want to move up as things are?

Did you hear mine when it wouldn't fit in my programme folder. Why the extra size? I was frawn of cold, must have been the coldest ever. Sat in the 'new' stand. Excellent viewing and will be good when the next lot go in as mentioned by the presenter. Nice to see all the other building going on, with the bricky working on bank holiday.Not bad for a first meeting, all the lads deserve a chance to show their worth but for some improvment is a must. Plymouth look stronger than Rye on paper so next thursday will be interesting.

Certain people should take a look at other threads on this forum and be thankful that we do not spend beyond our means and are certain (as you can be) of speedway next year at Foxhall.

Did anyone else have issues with different volume when different presenters where talking.I watched in HD and the race commentry (apart from the shouting) was so much louder than the studio guests that I had to adjust the volume every time. Also, they didn't show where the real action is happening, just focus on the leader and in the run down we had to rely on Pearson telling about "discussion" before we saw it. Apart from that great GP.

I remember when Ricko first rode for the Witches. You could tell he was something special and I have been a huge fan ever since. He has been the best of his era and the only thing that makes people doubt if he is the best ever is the lack of genuine world class riders that are around now. After our dream team season in 1998, the promotion had the hardest decision ever to chose any 2 from Ricko, Gollob, Louis and Nicholls. I wonder if the Louis' regret letting him leave? Who would others have chosen?

Mine too. Can go on holiday next week without fretting.
