  1. I hope that Cook signing for an Premier team doesn't stop him getting fixed up in poland as thats where He needs to ride to take the next step in his career. Should He be focusing on EL, Sweden and Poland?
  2. Being a Suffolk lad, I have seen a few ploughed fields in my time and no way can the track on thursday be called a ploughed field. And I disagree about Cook not looking for his team mate. He certainly was in heat 11 for the first lap but Ellis got to close so Cook cleared off. In my opinion Cook has a decision to make in the winter. Do he stay in the PL, make money and remain a big fish in a relatively small pond or give up the PL and push himself in Poland etc to achieve his full potential.
  3. What could John Louis have achieved if He had of started speedway before 29 years of age?
  4. Does this mean we will be without Ben as Birmingham are riding at Eastbourne?
  5. Just been tweeted that it is off. Glad I saved the diesel.
  6. I was home by 10.00 (1/2 hour drive) so under two hours which isn't bad considering the restarts.
  7. It wouldn't have made any difference to the result but why didn't Wilko have 7 rides?
  8. Can someone lend Siggy a bike to do a few laps?
  9. It will be the shortest conga since we were in the "Elite" league.
  10. Another good entertaining meeting. So far this year, the quality of racing has been very good and puts to shame the racing that Sky serves up from the Elite League. Why would anyone want to move up as things are?
  11. Chris Louis left it to the ref (who is an ex-rider) which is surely correct.
  12. Did you hear mine when it wouldn't fit in my programme folder. Why the extra size? I was frawn of cold, must have been the coldest ever. Sat in the 'new' stand. Excellent viewing and will be good when the next lot go in as mentioned by the presenter. Nice to see all the other building going on, with the bricky working on bank holiday. Not bad for a first meeting, all the lads deserve a chance to show their worth but for some improvment is a must. Plymouth look stronger than Rye on paper so next thursday will be interesting.
  13. Certain people should take a look at other threads on this forum and be thankful that we do not spend beyond our means and are certain (as you can be) of speedway next year at Foxhall.
  14. They are still our beloved Witches. Updated to add smileys as I thought I ought to include at least one.
