Glasgow v Plymouth 20th June 2025 @7.30pm

Absolute credit to the track staff track was amazing, I went expecting to come home covered but there was absolutely no dust whatsoever. Great work from all memebers of the team tonight, Hodder looked really quick tonight and Perry was looking competitive as well. Vilads had a bit of an unfortunate night with bike issues but he looked fast and wasn't afraid to attack. -

Well done to Cluff tonight, he's had his criticisms but he looks good tonight -
1st of the month they change but he'll still have an over 5 point average.

Workington v Plymouth 21/06/25 3 pm Championship.

Really it's the promotions fault for signing a rider who will be riding in Poland every home meeting. Poland have priority so if they want their rider he goes there even if he ends up not actually riding. It's not he like signed for a Polish team mid season either he was riding over there before he came to the UK so Workington can't be surprised. -
Berwick ‘buy a brick’ Bandits 2025
MB723 replied to emilali's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
What I mean is the management could be banking on some Redcar/Workington supporters still coming up, meanwhile the further away fans might be more inclined to get Bandits TV which could overall make more money instead of the further away fans just getting BSN. Its the only explaination I can come up with. You do miss out on a big crowd and increased atmosphere for the locals which is a shame though, saw it at Glasgow earlier this season against Berwick when BSN were up, expecting a full crowd but it was half empty -

Unless they make more money per stream from Bandits TV than BSN and think more further afield fans would still get the stream and closer fans would still make the trip even with it being on BSN? -
When BSN interviewed Ben at Poole recently he gave the same excuse of he'll try riding in Poland as the tracks are smoother/easier that Tobiasz Musielak used but Tobi actually got banned and then he never returned, probably will see the same thing here after the 7 days are up.

Great to see Dan get a wildcard as I didn't think he'd get one, he definitely deserves to be in the field as he's been riding fantastically. Do feel for those who didn't win the ballot in Glasgow as none of them got in the field, especially when Bednar got in after finishing tied 6th in his qualifier.

For curiosity sake what average would Nick Morris come back on? Would he come back on his old average or would he be reassessed? If he is reassessed could Hagon or Hume make way for him, Stuart isn't afraid to be ruthless with changes and if I remember correctly he was close with Nick -
Glasgow Tigers Vs Poole Pirates 6/6/25
MB723 replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Good thing we didn't get a 5-1 in heat 15 or the heat 14 decision would have been extremely frustrating. Leon had a poor night and Howarth wasn't quite as quick as he has been, can't have that when missing Dan and against a team where all the riders can ride the track well. -

Not every team can have as good a manager as Cami Brown . Harris in heat 8 is a waste really, better using him against Lawson or Rowe. -
King's Lynn v Ipswich KO Cup SF 1st leg 02/06/25

If the rising star did have a bad off and had to withdraw I don't think it's fair for the team already down a rider to be further punished. Personally though I think all teams should have either 2 rising stars or 0, would stop all this. -
Think he still has some of his really good Oxford scores contributing to his average which will take at least a few months to drop off, at the moment he is replacing bad Oxford scores with bad Glasgow ones.
-
Would it really be a 28 day ban for missing 1 ride after completeing 2, surely a week ban max? To be fair a longer time out might help though I hope he doesn't hang it up like it seems Connor Bailey has as he is talented, might have just tried to much too quickly.
-
Alex was a weird one, personally don't think he should have been in the rerun. Marc at least got his bike back to the pits under his own power
-
Love watching the bikes go through Maggots and Becketts, the way the riders have to position themselves to get through it really showcases their skill
-
Maybe BSN weren't able to do it, only other reason I can think of? Think last years semis were around August-September time last year if I'm remembering correctly.

He did manage to complete heat 4 and wasn't off the pace, don't know the pain he is in but knowing speedway riders and how important this meeting is he might try, if he does I hope he doesn't end up injuring himself further. Think Tom Brennan missed out on the wildcards when he did it despite there being no other Brits in the field and he just missed out on a qualification spot in the toughest quali so wildcard for Dan I would think is unlikely.
