  1. Oxford still have it on their website and social media that Ashton is with them for 2025. If/as/when this changes, I can update the confirmed list on the front page.
  2. In a moment of madness, I've taken the plunge. A few confirmations already, so have added to the list. Please feel free to comment any other confirmed signings/averages and I'll keep the list up to date. List is on the assumption these teams will all come to tapes this year & no new additions to Championship. Will update as we go along 😊

  4. Thanks 😊. And a prem team is out the question? If there was any prem team in Scotland/closer to home, I'd be keen to travel (work full time mon-fri and have mum duties, so further out as a treat - but not feasible for regular visits) - I imagine there's lots of fans north(and -ish) of the border who wouldn't normally support glasgow in champ, but would travel to see some of the bigger names of prem. Also, my view for next year: Bomber & Pearson. Smith's ave is 3.73, would place him good at 6 - would that be enough for a confidence boost and see him produce the points he did when he initially signed..? Rowe's a steal at 6.27 - would be gutted if he has signed for Poole.
  5. Can I ask - and sorry if this has been asked before - why do Glasgow only run one team? If Oxford can run 3 in a shared track, why can Glasgow not have at least 2?! IMO would be great for attracting and retaining new fans, especially if the 2nd team was prem.
  6. BSN reporting that Jenkins & Heeps were both scheduled for practice laps tonight; so I imagine for Scunny. If not, for the rerun.
  7. Watching on TV - just wanted to check stream hasn't started for anyone else. Made this mistake before watching a black screen 😆 Edit: started. Patience is a virtue 😆.
  8. Thanks to the responders who helped with our travel plans. This was our first time at Cardiff. What an incredible experience! Us adults really enjoyed - my 8 year old loved the immersiveness. He was sure the louder he shouted, the faster bewley, lambert & brennan were going. There were many empty seats but that didn't stop the crowd. Fantastic atmosphere. We are the described "new fans" - my Dad took us to watch in Glasgow when he could lay his hand on free tickets (there was 4 of us kids, so I'll give him a pass 😆). We, all 20's and 30's now, have a rekindled love for the sport, with my 8 year old. It's a shame to see so much negativity- there are new supporters coming into the sport: most younger folk are simply unaware that is in existence. Word of mouth is incredible - I've not known anyone I've recommended to attend - even at that much lower championship level - to not enjoy it and have a fantastic night and either want to or actively go back. The amount of "gatekeeping" by older fans is laughable - not all, of course, but those "diehards", my best example being that I still can't comment on our local teams fan page! - these need to be verified and have waited for 1+ year! Please, be more accommodating of us newbies! I certainly hope Cardiff goes again next year. I'll be one of the first in line for tickets and will be recommending to many others - may even put on a bus (we also had no response to the glasgow one, despite it being broadcasted of availability on here..). Very open to all of your knowledge and experience. Welcoming of suggestions for tracks to visit, and other GPs for us to plan around our holidays next year!
  9. Hi all, Sorry , not sure if this should go in the general discussion board, but looking for some help! Driving over from North London. Are we best parking up in Cardiff, or anyone with local knowledge know any decent park and ride? Open to it being further out if it cuts down on drive, my 8 year old makes a terrible passenger. Thanks
  10. I'm not sure if everyone's aware of this or not - if over the counter meds, such as co-codamol, I expect Lee would have recieved a nice wee statement rather than a ban.... https://www.scbgb.co.uk/news.php?extend.83
  11. I make no apologies for not being a sun buyer/reader . In seriousness, his social media platforms have all been active and regularly updated until now.
  12. I'm still surprised there's been no statement or anything from Complin, especially for his sponsors this year, who seem to have gone above and beyond. Silly man.
