  1. Glasgows original team involved both lads in Glasgows 2025 team ,however a miscount of 0.01 prevented this team to go ahead and changes were forced.
  2. Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Coventry, Rugby & Madrid
  3. A tonne load of track time and running equipment on a totally different level to those around him plays a massive part in his results so far, far fairer playing field in the Championship so time will tell if he's as cracked up to the hype around him.
  4. Connor now back in Australia with no intention of returning to speedway, and it looks like Paul Starke will be signing for Poole and potentially their fall guy for Cairns coming in.
  5. 100 quid says he will, winner donates the money to cash for kids
  6. Glasgow will be running a NDL level Glasgow select team in 2025 with the focus being entering the League in 2026. Andrew Meredith & Gordon Mcdonald will be the team managers, and will be running 'friendlies', individuals & challenge events. After each event all riders from both teams will be given track time after the meeting to allow them to work on things that they may have struggled with while racing. Glasgow will be looking at running on a Sunday for NDL level racing ,with Glasgows track staff running practise days to help with the team funding. Where Glasgow has fallen behind in youth development, 2025 should see a significant change to that.
  7. Glasgows team up on 2nd December for social media stuff for team announcement.
  8. Actually, I'll put my hand up and agree it was an over-reaction , not baseless however, but still an overreaction. The mental health comment wasn't a woke based remark, speedway as a sport has to look at the pressures its putting on its youngsters. I get the post is meant as tongue in cheek, in comparison to what was said in a previous 12 page topic it's lighthearted but when there's already been 12 pages pretty much tearing a 17 year old apart not to mention the pages and pages on other social media sources, do we still have to keep using a 17 yr old for topics of interest? Anyway To the OP, sorry for the over-reaction, heart was engaged before the head.
  9. I think any youngsters coming to Glasgow has a good chance to greatly improve, with the 2 tracks big and small and unrestricted track time they would have a great chance to really develop.
  10. So we've seen the likes of Connor Bailey and other youngsters drop out the sport due to mental health yet we seem to think its acceptable to continue to hound young Vinnie Foord. Away and give your head a wobble and get a grip, and ironically all done by hiding away behind a faceless profile, absolutely pathetic.
  11. Similar tracks shape wise but track material very different. Claus has said in interviews he likes clay, something Workington can't go too heavy with it due to the tracks location.
  12. He doesn't know because that's not the team
  13. With clubs like Workington, Glasgow, Scunny etc available to provide track time this may have played a big part in Ashtons change of heart as there is no denying track time is a big appeal to riders especially the youngsters.
