He's had how many seasons at Wolverhampton though? I thought that was the point of him signing for them? I'm sure he'll continue developing, but he looks more like a Tom Brennan type level than world class.
I'm a long time lurker, recently joining to post, but this poster is a bit of an oddbod, likes the sound of his own (forum) voice I think.
Referring to the one you quoted btw.
The problem is it's always in dead rubber meetings when it happens. Maybe they did ask lots of riders but it's not a coincidence that when there's nothing at stake then R/R gets wheeled out. Smacks of not being bothered.
You can't knock them too much as they're probably volunteering, you're not wrong though. They're such an important tool now with the power of social media.
Other than the fact one is a TV presenter role and one is a speedway meeting then nah, there's barely any difference.
I wonder if Lee Complin had agreed to do a plumbing job last year if Glasgow could get a guest in?
I hope there's a massive turnout on Saturday for Stuart, he has always been dedicated to British speedway and was nothing short of 100% entertainment.
I have to say that it's a shame the lineup has turned out the way it has. The work of Stuart and all the trusty volunteers deserves better than a below average lineup in almost October.
Is there any reason it couldn't be delayed until March/April again?
Yes it has been in the diary all season - for GP riders. Absolutely farcical if a facility was given for a TV presenter. Is he a speedway rider or not?
Hopefully it's the catalyst to stop clubs messing around with their fixtures every season. This isn't a solely Glasgow issue, Championship fixtures should not be stretching across 5 months. There are 9 teams.
I don't think his connection is quite that close to Aaron. Plus, if he's 18 then he'd have been born when Aaron was 17 and was still 2 years off racing in the UK.
I do believe he has a (half-)sibling through Aaron however.
