  1. There's also mention of a British Junior League in other screenshots, maybe that's the other league?
  2. When the last promoter rolls out of bed on their last day there.
  3. I can't begin to think why Terry Russell thinks it's not viable.
  4. Looks like it's Ipswich, but where does it leave Emil/Doyle?
  5. How you can equate asking which British fan will spend a week in Manchester with advocating that Britain has no top events is brilliant. It doesn't surprise me, but even still.
  6. Regardless of how "vibrant" or not you find Manchester, it's hardly practical for British fans to have a week long SON there. The Friday/Saturday night is fair enough, but who's taking a week off work to spend it in Manchester?
  7. Don't know, probably guested for BV in 1968.
  8. Because Laguta was reliable when he was on a fortune. God knows what he'd be like on Keith's rates.
  9. Maybe seeing the Premiership first hand might push Godfrey into making the wholesale changes that are necessary in the sport?
  10. If those in charge decided against opening a new club for that reason then we're in more trouble than I thought, and that's a lot.
  11. He has gone back to Lokomotiv Daugavpils, in the Polish 2nd league.
  12. Strength in depth. Just without the strength, or the depth.
  13. https://twitter.com/CraigCook111/status/1721245142579823089?t=DKWMnPDPEfcGMfCI98RCaA&s=19
  14. Numbers wise it might not be a majority, but it's certainly not a drug limited to the "professional classes". Go to any working men's club, football ground, etc., etc. and you'll find plenty using it.
  15. Maybe it was Boxall, so Worrall got him back.
  16. Really? Boxall has previous and it was immediately after Cardiff weekend. It would seem strange, to me at least, if they were the only two who were on it.
  17. Unfortunately very true. Another unique problem that speedway does/may have on the horizon. If we want riders to be more amateur and have other jobs, cut costs etc. etc. means facing the reality that most of them are young men, and as you say, cocaine usage is prevalent.
  18. Surprised there's as much dislike of Roynon. Fair enough he's not a natural, but he's decent value. The main issue for me is a lead commentator who loves to take digs at fans who don't tow the party line, despite those same fans paying his wages.
  19. Great point. I can only assume you felt the same about Poole signing a rider on a 4.29 average this season, after he'd averaged over 6.5 a couple of seasons before.
  20. Thank you, I'm pleased. I'm not sure predicting a rider, available on 4.10, and who's averaged: 2017 - 7.10 2018 - 6.80 2019 - 7.39 2021 - 6.58 adding 2 points to his average in a weaker league is my finest material, but I'm pleased nevertheless.
  21. No, should I be? Paul Starke has been a far better rider than Kyle Newman in the past. If Paul Starke can be described as "too old" and "not got any improvement in him" then so can Kyle Newman. I don't think you can doubt the effort Newman gives to any team, but making out you're above the level of Starke while Newman keeps being signed is illogical.
