  1. Finally the rest of the Poole fans realise what I've been telling you for weeks!! Lindback has been p*ssing the Pirates about all year with his 'injuries' and tiredness problems, and if there was any sort of comparable replacement WILLING to come across this year he would have been sacked a long time back! Its a shame because he is a good rider, but treating the fans and his sponsors in England as he has done is disgraceful.
  2. Not very specific here but... Poole beating Wolves at Wimbourne Rd by 1 pt in the BSPA Cup Semi final in the early 90's. Poole had Maryvn Cox, Steve Schofield and Mick Poole as its main stars, Wolves had Sam Ermolenko and Ronnie Correy in their prime. I don't think Sam had won the World Championship yet, but I might be wrong. Poole got a 5-1 in the last (Scoie and Poole, Cocker had a mare that night) over Sudden Sam and Rocket Ronnie...
  3. SuperJoe, 66/1 was a very generous price that had to be taken advantage of eh! I had some too... Good ol' SkyBet
  4. I'd also like to congratulate Hans Andersen for his superb win last night. At the same time I'd also like to thank SkyBet for offering a very generous 66/1 for Mr. Andersen to do so Sometimes you get lucky eh!
  5. Thats what I was thinking!! Where did he pick up an injury? Poland? Sue who exactly? All very interesting!
  6. Hi all Thought I'd post and say nice to meet many of you, and hope to do so again if you trip down to the Sunny South Coast and watch the Pirates! Although an Eastbourne rider, I couldn't help cheering Floppy, he had a blinding evening and well done to him. I'm looking forward to the World Cup now! COME ON ENGLAND (or Team GB - *just for you Pirate!*)
