  1. We were planning to experience a GP in Torun next year so a bit disappointed it is not on the calendar and we can't do the Speedway of Nations dates. Any thoughts on which of the following venues would be best in terms of a combination of racing quality/stadium/location: Landshut (staying in Munich) Gorzow (staying in Poznan) Riga Wroclaw Vojens (staying in Copenhagen) Thanks
  2. There is disruption to the Cross Country train service that runs between Cardiff Central and Nottingham from August 17 and 26 due to planned rail works just north of Birmingham (primarily linked to work necessary for HS2). According to Network Rail the routes affected include services between: Birmingham New Street and Leicester, Peterborough, Cambridge and Stansted Airport. Cardiff Central and Birmingham New Street to Nottingham. Scotland, the North East to Birmingham New Street and the South West. See this link: https://www.networkrailmediacentre.co.uk/news/major-engineering-work-to-affect-crosscountry-journeys-next-month
  3. According to the Land Registry details: 1. The freehold of Perry Barr Stadium is owned by Birmingham City Council. 2. There is a long leasehold interest of 99 years running from 17 January 1986. The lease was originally granted by the Council to Perry Barr Greyhound Racing Club Limited. The Land Registry shows this long leasehold as now being owned by St Francis Group (Perry Barr) Limited. It was acquired from the Perry Barr Greyhound Racing Club Limited by St Francis in July 2015. According to Companies House, the St. Francis company is part of the Corbally Group and the company has subsequently changed its name to Corbally Group (Perry Barr) Limited. 3. There is a short leasehold interest of 15 years running from 15 July 2013. This short lease was originally granted by the Perry Barr Greyhound Racing Club Limited to GRA Limited. This company (and effectively the underlying lease) was acquired by Arena Racing Corporation Limited in 2019. The lease is subject to a charge held by an Irish registered lender (TFB Mortgages). I do not know if this Irish company is linked to the National Asset Management Agency (an Irish government backed organisation) referred to in the earlier posts.
