  1. This place is wild… I love it. It’s a bare Thursday afternoon and I’ve already saw ”so far up your own arse”, ”you are devoid of a moral compass”, ”pathetic” and ”start your own forum and give us peace” which was aimed at me.
  2. I’ve never even heard of him. I’m out my depth here. You’re up, @Pinny.
  3. This is a very good shout. I remember Staechmann went from red suit/white bike to those mad Wulf Sport outfits. He went from looking slim to chubby.
  4. Clue time, other than he rode for what I assume was Peterborough in the early 00s.
  5. Before the meeting, I’d have considered a 10-point loss to be fair, but considering the circumstances and the way the meeting unfolded, it’s somewhat disappointing. I‘ve only recently returned to speedway, so didn’t realise the scoreline was identical after the interval during the same fixture earlier this season, so for a similar collapse to happen again will only add to Cami Brown’s frustration. I wonder what sort of discussions take place between a manager and a rider, Brennan and Complin, in this instance, following a poor meeting. I’m intrigued.
  6. Announcing his intention to ignore someone he’s never interacted with. Tell me you’re craving attention without telling me you’re craving attention.
  7. But for the love of God, wear trousers this time.
  8. @Berry9, can you believe he was swaggering around the pits at Ashfield, whistling the Russian national anthem?
  9. I agree, it isn’t the safest margin, but I think Oxford will take a significant amount of confidence from the nature of the win. With the score at 34-32 at the interval, BBC Oxford’s commentary team said they felt like the momentum was with Glasgow; Harris had beaten Nicholls and Basso had beaten Masters for heat advantages in the two previous heats. BBC Oxford’s commentary then said Oxford’s manager rounded-up his team in the pits in an attempt to galvanise them and it worked. What a response; Kerr beat Basso, the heat thirteen 5-1, Jenkins and Atkins passing Brennan to secure the win, then the last heat 4-2 was more than anyone could have imagined. The return leg at Ashfield is setting-up to be spectacular.
  10. So @Jaizer has reacted in dramatic fashion to my post which included laughing emojis to emphasise that it wasn’t serious, but you think I’ll suffer if my ignored? If I’m his friend, I’m telling him to relax and stop getting up-tight about nothing.
  11. Based on your extreme response to a post that included laughing emojis to emphasise its non-serious nature, I’d encourage you to put me on ignore. I don’t think your reaction is healthy. All the best mate.
  12. 1. Show me examples of occasions I had a go at someone. 2. Where was your input when someone above had a go at me for mistaking Brennan as Glasgow’s captain? Or are you picking and choosing when you’re outraged? 3. I have no idea who “cabbarabage” is. 4. That’s the first time anyone’s every suggested I start my own forum and said so in a derogatory manner. I’m a bit confused by what I assume is an attempted insult.
  13. That’s a bit of an extreme response, don’t you think? Is it because I used a few laughing emojis? Did that upset you?
  14. You cannot be serious here. Brennan is obviously not the captain, but Glasgow’s official website states in the ‘Club Officials’ section that he is and the BSPL’s official Instagram account stated he is on last night’s promotional content, but you’re directing us towards the second-last paragraph and 793rd word of a 1,000 word article, as if the oversight is on us.
  15. What an excellent input you’ve had here. Honestly, well done. I hope you’re proud. I love a verbal ding-dong and debate as much as the next person, but if you’re going to be randomly obnoxious to someone, at least do so with substance. Thank you. I’m going to comment ”do keep up” under the BSPL’s Instagram post in snide-style, like @tyretrax. Actually, no I’m not, because I’m not a child. I’m not sure if this is aimed at me or not, but regardless, I take my hat off to you because that is a tremendous metaphor. Have a like.
  16. In that case, there can be no complaints beyond frustration at Wright picking-up an injury or injuries. I’ll tell you what, by the way, I’ve used forums for work, travel and football, but never before have I come across a more arsey crowd than on here. The passive-aggressive tone to the two messages I’ve quoted is world class; almost outraged that I’d asked the question. I quite like it.
  17. I can see both parties point of view. It’s a difficult dilemma. Was Wright contractually obliged to ride in Poland that day?
  18. ”Do keep up”. What an obnoxious way to start an interaction. What should I keep up with? Glasgow’s own website states that Brennan is the captain, so if that isn’t accurate, then I’m afraid your loathsome attitude is directed at the wrong person.
  19. Do I need to start shadow boxing to assert my dominance here, or are we all going to play nicely?
  20. I think if Michael Max wanted to be Glasgow Tigers’ manager, he’d occupy the role now. He’s one of the club’s promoters, so I’m assuming Cami Brown will directly or indirectly report to Max and/or the other promoters on behalf of the Facennas.
